The complimentary hot breakfast had extensive offerings. The front desk staff were helpful and kind when we were checking our luggage for a day of wandering around. Friendly and helpful staff (We speak basic Japanese and sometimes had to use Google translate with staff). The free daily buffet breakfast was delicious and filling every morning. Clean rooms. Excellent locations from Shiki station. Let’s of places to eat in the area. Love the hotel. Rooms are clean and have the basic amenities. Recommends travelers just bring small carry on suitcases. We one one small carry on and one large suitcase. I was pleasantly surprised by how cleverly things are designed inside the room, which makes the small space very usable. Upon arrival was told that the parking lot on site was full ( there are roughly 15 parking spaces.. the hotel has 13 floors of guest rooms with about 10 rooms per floor) .. the staff member was unhelpful. If you don’t actually have parking for people don’t claim it. It’s just a Toyoko Inn so I didn’t have high expectations for the room but the bed was literally the hardest bed I’d ever slept on. No give at all.
