Lovely couple and fantastic location!

We were 2 adults and a 9 yr old boy and we stayed one night in this charming farm location. We were travelling from Bilbao to the Mediterranean and it was a perfect location to stop for an overnight. Loads of room to park the car (roof box and bike rack), the room was really quaint and so clean. We were welcomed by Béatrice and Jean-François and a lovely intern working there on placement. We had booked the table d'hôte and it was outdoors in the yard with the hosts - we had fabulous food and a...

A Memorable Stay in a Historical Gem with the Most Amazing Host. This charming bed and breakfast, nestled in a beautifully decorated XIII-century house, offers a timeless and comforting ambiance. The spacious and impeccably clean room and bathroom perfectly blend historical charm with modern comfort. Dominique, the wonderful owner, greets her hosts with warmth and hospitality, making one feel truly at home. Breakfast is simply perfect with an array of fresh products. I wholeheartedly recommend...

A real gem of a find. Very comfortable Chateau, great food and company. Excellent host made checkin easy and flexible which was great when travelling via bike and being exact with timings can be tricky. Wish I could have stayed longer!

A small mix up at arrival was quickly resolved and we were helped to find somewhere to eat at 10pm - no small feat in rural France. Beautiful location, comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. Hope to visit again

The welcome and the care of Marie and her family were outstanding and there was a determination to make it feel as though we were part of the family. Our room (Marquis) was lovely - very large and full of character but with mod cons, comfortable seating and a very comfy bed. It also had an attached small room with 2 single beds we didn't need this as it was just the 2 of us. Breakfast, both indoors and outdoors depending on the weather, were fresh and tasty with the opportunity to eat as much as...

The manager was excellent

The hotel is located on a side road in a modest size village. Very little traffic passes so it's not likely to attract passing trade but does mean it's very quiet with no vehicle noise in the rooms. The staff speak good English so communication isn't a problem. The room has a balcony with views of the mountains in the distance. Breakfast costs extra but is of high quality. The only issue is the soap dispenser in the bathroom was empty but the shower gel provided an alternative.

This a a delightful slightly quirky place. Lots of interesting things in this 'lived in' St Giron house. We absolutely loved it !
