We met Jean Michel on the evening of our arrival and he had baked a lovely cake to welcome us. We had several outings and hikes in the beautiful surrounding countryside and the sight of the mountains in the morning and the beautiful birdsong is a balm to the soul. There was even a blackbird nesting under the eaves of the cottage with a nest of little ones.
