Very peaceful because of the renovated windows. The bells ring at 8am and 7pm. A 10/15 minutes walk allows to reach the sea side. You have to drive only 8 kms to reach St Malo (intra muros). Dinard Pleurtuit airport, to those flying from Great Britain, is arround 40 kms far. Britanny ferries sail to St malo directly from Southampton. La cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée. Cette belle maison donne sur un petit jardin bien agencé, entouré de murs qui abritent du vent, ce qui nous a permis de manger dehors le plus souvent. L'emplacement est idéal ! Pittoresque, sur la place de l'Eglise et très pratique, le matin surtout, juste en face de la boulangerie ! Et à seulement un kilomètre de la plage, facile à parcourir à pied, pour la plupart d'entre nous. En outre, la communication est facile et efficace. Nous arrivons avec le soleil et donc une envie de profiter du salon de jardin. Zut , il n'y a que 6 chaises pour 8 personnes. Je veux m'asseoir et je constate que la chaise est cassée ; en fait, 4 chaises sur 6 sont cassées. Après un échange de mail avec le propriétaire qui me laisse penser que le désagrément sera rapidement résolu, plus de nouvelles. Une plaque électrique qui ne fonctionne pas à tous les coups. Couettes, oreillers et alèses qui attendent impatiemment leur passage annuel au pressing. Pas de place dans les armoires -quant il y en a- pour ranger nos affaires : les meubles sont pleins d'affaires de famille. Et côté sécurité, pas de détecteur de fumée et une barrière de sécurité incomplète. Nous étions deux familles réparties sur les deux étages de la maison. Chaque famille avait sa salle de bain. La cuisine/salle à manger étaient très grande et fonctionnelle avec beaucoup d'ustensiles de cuisine. Le jardin est entièrement clos et donc calme. Nous avons même pu faire un barbecue. Le quartier est idéal : calme avec beaucoup de commerces. La plage la plus proche est accessible à pied en 15 minutes de marche. Le contact avec les propriétaires s’est fait facilement par le site internet. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par les personnes responsables de l'état des lieux. Il y a de l'espace pour tout le monde, la maison est nickel et bien équipée : tout le nécessaire pour faire la cuisine, piano (déscordé mais c'est sympatique de pouvoir faire quelques notes), jeux et livres. Il faut juste amener son linge de maison. Le jardin est aussi bien agréable. Située à Saint Ideuc, on peut se rendre à la plage à pieds en 10/15 min, en 30 minutes aux thermes marins pour les curistes. Sinon avec une voiture c'est aussi très pratique. On peut se garer à proximité. Il y a un grand supermarché à 2 min.
