One can tell the owner repairs the appartment room by room, giving each room a certain unique character. One thing I really liked was the local art hanging in each room. The appartment is located right in the center of StMalo, but 2 corners away from the busy streets. When leaving for the groceries (4 minutes walk) you suddendly feel french :-) 3 things that could be better: - international TV-stations on the TV-Box - one lamp of the living room lamp was broke - cleaning equipment in the bathroom took up a little to much of space Of course, this is a downtown area and you should forget about parking the car right outside on the street. We enjoyed 5 fabulous days at this apartment with our two kids. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of space. The location is perfect!! We walked to the beach everyday and were surrounded by more great restaurants than we could possibly try. My only complaint is the seagulls! The apartment was lovely. Very well equipped and amazing location. It is several storeys up so best to keep luggage to a limit as no lift and would not suit anyone with restricted mobility. Also quite difficult to find with the car due to the one way system, the satnav doesn't quite get it, best to have a paper map or view on google maps. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. At first glance the toilet is in a cramped space but it has a really good fan and was a good working toilet which is the important thing. Living area was spacious.
