"Our room was very clean, with an attached balcony with a view of the Eiffel Tower. It was my first trip to Paris, so this was very exciting. A breakfast buffet was included, which had scrambled and hard boiled eggs, many delicious breads and pastries, cooked veggies, fresh fruits, hot/cold cereals and cheese/cold cuts, too. The staff were helpful and polite. The hotel’s location is in a vibrant neighborhood. It also has a spectacular rooftop bar."

"Ideally placed to visit many of the city attractions. Super helpful and welcoming staff. Gave directions, booked taxis and offered complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and served at sensible times. Our classic room was a little on the small side and if we returned, we would book a superior room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Hotel is in a great location and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is quite dark particularly at night. The 4 lamps/light fixtures must have 20 watt bulbs in place. The room temperature can only be adjusted from the front desk and the thermostat in the room does not control anything. The breakfast is adequate, but a better value is to eat at neighboring hotels or a bakery"

"We picked the Dauphine Saint Germain hotel based upon its location and reasonable price - so glad we made that choice! First, the hotel is in the heart of the Left Bank with the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Musée d'Orsay, Latin Quarter, and Luxembourge Garden all within a short walk. Saint Germain is a happening street, lively until the wee hours. Our clean room faced the courtyard, thus extremely quiet and peaceful. This was important to us after the chaos of the city. All members of the staff were kind and helpful. Example: We asked to check in very early (before noon). They couldn't promise, of course, yet our room was available when we arrived - outstanding! The hotel had a cozy bar which is open 24/7 where we could chat with other guests. We highly recommend this hotel."

"Room was large and clean. View of the Eiffel Tower was amazing! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Air conditioning is a bit weak and slow but we just opened the windows and it was fine. We stayed in April so the weather was still mild. It may be a problem at the height of summer."
