Our room was much larger than we expected - separate receiving room from the bedroom, and separate toilet from the bathroom (with tub!). It's much bigger than most rooms in Europe, and this is in an old town! Staff was very friendly and seemed to anticipate our needs.

Beautiful hotel right in the center of Saint Emillion. Our room was truly amazing with the largest bathroom I’ve ever had in a hotel. Despite its age the hotel also had air conditioning which was a bonus. Parking was a challenge. They do have a car parking area but we didn’t find it but got luckily on a parking space that was actually closer and cheaper trying to find the hotel one. You will have to drag your luggage a fair way and the last 10 yards or so is either down or up a very steep, cobbled street which was not easy to walk without bags so I’d recommend traveling light if staying here. Lots of dining options but the best ones do require reservations in advance.

Romantic hotel in the heart of St Emilion
Staying at the Logis de la Cadene was an amazing experience. It is located right in the heart of the village, so you can walk to restaurants, wine tasting.... The Logis is an old building, but full of charm and nicely kept and clean. Our room and bathroom was super romantic and spacious. Breakfast is included and quite tasty. And not to forget that there is a 1 Star Michelin restaurant downstairs: the food there was divine. Extra thank you to all the staff (specially Celine) working there for always being some friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer. I will definitely return to the Logis very soon.

Beautiful hotel, so tastefully decorated. Very comfortable rooms (once we sorted air conditioning out - it was very hot when we visited). Breakfast was very relaxing, and pace of life good. Hotel Organised a free wine tour with guide and tasting. We could not fault this experience. Access to the hotel is not suitable for the infirm. Very steep cobbled, slippery access with intermittent hand rails. We discovered alternative access which was more suitable.

Having a Michelin Star restaurant in the lobby was incredible, and our dinner experience there was one of the finest in my life. The food, the service, the atmosphere were all fantastic. Otherwise, the hotel was very charming, perfectly situated for walking around the down town, steps away from the main square. And the staff were one after another sweet, kind, and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Charming property in a great location in the center of Saint Emilion. The only caveat is that finding the property and then managing the off site parking and the bags is tricky. Also no help with bags up the stairs so this hotel will not work for everyone.

This is an AWESOME place to stay. Right in the middle of town. The staff were amazing and very helpful!!! Highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely stay here again.

Stay in Saint Emilion
We had a great stay in Saint Emilion, the hotel was right in the centre of the town and good location to explore the area. Staff were really helpful, and managed to get us a reservation for the restaurant at really short notice - food and wine were amazing (good recommendation for the other night we were there as well). Room was clean and bathroom was massive, with a really good shower. Although in the centre, was really quiet at night. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were so lovely at what is a very difficult time. The restaurant was wonderful & the food fabulous! So sad to cut short our stay & would love to return.

The hotel and its restaurant are both fantastic. Just unfortunately it's TOO hot ... the air conditioner was very weak. I couldn't sleep ... and I even went downstairs to move a fan from the restaurant to the room myself in the middle of night. However, the other things are good. It would be a perfect stay and dinner if the air conditioner were functioning well.

DO NOT hesitate to stay at this hotel!
Truly exquisite and tasty place! Rooms are very clean and spacious. The internet is good. Breakfast is the weakness at this hotel... everything else GREAT! I am not hesitant to say that this is the best place to stay in Saint Emillion! Perfect location in the city! By the way, the best Michelin restaurant in town is located at this hotel! If for whatever reason you don't have the chance to eat there, try the restaurant La Tertre! Amazing food! Worthy of Michelin rating! It was the beast meal we had during our stay! DO NOT Hesitate to stay at this hotel!

Extremely attentive staff in both the hotel and the restaurant. Everybody was friendly, helpful, professional and truly top notch. Clearly, my comfort and well-being was their top priority. A big shout-out for Céline who was especially helpful the day I arrived. The staff are very well-trained, so management should be complimented also. I will for certain return.

Treasure in the Heart of Saint Emilion
Fabulous place in the very heart of Saint-Emilion. A very old building with a great deal of character. There were some issues on how to best approach this very small boutique hotel. You must park your car and drag your luggage over steep cobblestone streets and rather challenging steeply inclined areas. But once you arrive it is a lovely hotel with great service at pretty reasonable rates. The room was fully restored and very nicely appointed and the bathroom was amazing with both a beautiful old tub and a great shower. This is a very special place to stay. We would also recommend the one star Micheline restaurant which was truly an amazing dinning experience.

The room is very nice and size is ideal. The bathroom is very clean with a stand alone bathtub aside from shower and commode area . they have welcome pastry and daily complimentary water, coffee, tea. It’s located in a very good area in Saint Emilion just next to the famous church. The Logis de la Cadene restaurant is the highlight of our stay. It’s a Michelin star restaurant . It’s a truly a good experience and food is excellent and extra ordinary . One must to experience dining here and I would say , after dining, you will raise your bar on Michelin restaurants

Lovely hotel in the heart of St Emillion.
Lovely hotel with great staff. Be prepared to have a walk with your luggage as hotel parking is a walk away. St Emillion is beautiful but has steep cobbled streets which can make luggage transfer difficult. No lift in the hotel. Book ahead for the restaurant as you don't want to miss out on a wonderful dining experience. The truffle risotto was delicious!

Lovely place, comfy bed. No blinds on one window in our room which was odd. Also mind your head for low hanging beams. Restaurant food was good, but main dish (white fish) lackluster. Could benefit from light bossa nova jazz for more casual atmosphere

Amazing Hotel!
Highly recommend this hotel. Place is newly renovated with antique styling. The staff was also great! Location was also great, with amazing restaurants all around. Speaking of restaurants, this hotel has one of the best restaurants in town! I also want to call out Andresa (front desk) and Alexandre (head chef), they were fantastic! Looking forward to going back.

町の中心にある豪華なプチホテル
町の中心であるモノリス教会のすぐそばでロケーションは最高だが、タクシーで横づけできるのは裏の出入口で通常は閉まっているため、チェックインする際に少々戸惑った。また表の入口は急坂に面しているため、チェックアウト後スーツケースを引いてタクシーの乗場まで行くのはかなり大変だった。 泊まった部屋は５部屋あるうち３番目のランクの部屋だったが、バスタブ、シャワー、トイレが分かれているなど、とても豪華な造りの部屋であった。 部屋にはミネラルウォーターと湯沸しがあったが、唯一残念だった点は、部屋に冷蔵庫が無かったこと。 朝食は完全なコンチネンタルブレックファストで暖かい卵やソーセージなどはなく、時間も８時半からと始まるのがやや遅い。 またホテルのレストランでチェックアウトした日の昼食をとったが、味・値段ともさすがミシュランの星付きという感じであった。

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr gediegen, sehr gemütlich. Tolle Zimmer und super Frühstück. Mit Gepäck allerdings schwer zu erreichen, kein Parkplatz vorhanden. Die Lage im Ort aber zentral, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Unbedingt im Restaurant reservieren!
