Quiet neighborhood, relaxing wrap around deck with fire pit. Short walk to town.
10/10 Excellent
"We came for a family reunion/celebration of life and needed a place nearby to stay. It was clean, updated, and a quiet neighborhood. Communication was quick and helpful when needed. Thank you for an easy, relaxing stay!"
"Breakfast tried to be upscale but didn't make it
could only get hot water from room faucets.
very nicely furnished rooms, but a bit noisy across the hall... no damper on doors. "
Charming 3-bedroom house in serene Lander with all the amenities of home
10/10 Excellent
"Charming, comfortable, tasteful. A great property that can take your stay to another level. The place was spotless and smelled so good . Communication was remarkable and prompt. Would stay again. Would recommend."
"The place was not professionally cleaned! Closet doors/blinds/screens/entry doors broken. Sheets dirty. Refer dirty. LARGE oil stain in driveway. This home is NOT up to VBRO standards. Terribly disappointing. Should not be made available until inspected by VBRO to confirm it is up to standards. We took video to avoid being charged. Had to clean and wash sheets to be able to stay. Owner was responsive and said sorry not up to your standards, you can leave and apply for a refund if you don't want to stay there. "
"This is a great place to stay and check out what Lander has to offer. The location and property are excellent. Every group member made a comment at some point during our stay about how great the house was. "
"This was my first stay at this peaceful farm property with friendly but lively dogs. On the first night, I was woken around 1 a.m. by barking and flashing security lights as the dogs ran across the front. Light sleepers might find this disruptive. The master bedroom was clean, but the mattress was firmer than I’m used to. There’s no air conditioning, so cooling relies on ceiling fans and open windows — manageable during my visit but could be tougher in summer.Cell service is very limited unless you use Union Wireless or Verizon. I had no AT&T or T-Mobile signal and relied on the host’s Wi-Fi, which was fast.Entertainment was minimal with just a few books and no TV or games, so bring your own entertainment if you plan to stay in.A note for drivers: one dog followed me into the garage while my brother helped me back in the vehicle. The dogs are sweet but be cautious when moving cars.At 179/night, I hoped for more comfort and amenities, but the tranquil setting and chance to unplug after exploring Lander made for a relaxing stay."
You can spend an afternoon studying the exhibits at Museum of the American West during your travels in Lander. You can enjoy the bars while in the area.
