Charming 3-bedroom house in serene Lander with all the amenities of home

"Enjoyed coming to Lander to visit and stay at this cozy home. Our host welcomed our busy family including 3 working dogs. She’s built up this home to feel welcoming from the moment you walk into the foyer. Our kids enjoyed the games and being able to sit out and enjoy the evening in the well manicured yard. Would love to visit again in the future."

"Lesson learned -- you get what you pay for, but I really expected a little more from a Wyndam property. We booked a three-bed suite for our stay, but when we arrived, we were told that something had happened to our room leaving it unable to occupy. That's okay, things happen. We were given an option of another suite with 2 beds and a sofa bed or two rooms with 2 beds each. We wanted to hang out together to watch the hockey game, so we opted for the suite. Upon entering the room, there was a strong odor of syrup. We turned on the AC/fan and figured it would clear out while we went to dinner. I checked the sofa bed and found a dirty sheet on it, so I went to the front desk to retrieve new bedding. They were very nice and apologized for the trouble. After dinner the smell was still there but by this time, we weren't going to pack up and move. Throughout the night, the room was very hot the and the air conditioner did not work well enough to cool it down so we had to open the windows. We were there in May, I can't imagine how unbearable that room will be in July. We found a used towel hanging on the hook on the back of the bathroom door and when we were packing up, my husband accidentally kicked what appeared to be a partially eaten cookie or chunks of some crumbly thing out from underneath the bed skirt. It was probably part of a pancake to go with the syrup smell. Not a great experience. Luckily it was only one night."

"Overall not a bad hotel to stay. They could do better with amenities. Breakfast is standard hotel. The staff is pleasant, if not quick. A decent hotel to rest in Lander, WY."

"What an absolutely wonderful time we had at Hunter’s most beautiful home! It was nestled within the mountains and it had many windows which drew in the natural sunlight. From the windows, we saw different views of the mountains, wildlife and we even saw snow in May!!! We also enjoyed morning coffees and conversations while sitting on his porch.Hunter’s home was the perfect place for our family and it provided us with much peace. The location was great because of the beautiful atmosphere, quiet nights, and it was only about 5 minutes from Safeway and downtown. Hunter was an extremely responsive and kind host. He even went out of his way to provide us with blow dryers! Our family loved our stay so much that we hope to stay there again next year! Thank you for having us, Hunter!"
