"Great location. Right across from the central train station. Also close to other public transportation. Check-in was easy and fast. The staff was very courteous and professional. The gym was adequately equipped. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Room was great, very clean, comfy bed. Customer service was lacking unfortunately. Check-in was slow but ok. The girl at the desk mentioned a new system being the cause of the delay. There were a few people waiting but only one person behind the desk. Checkout was actually terrible. We left early, about 6am. The girl behind the desk had headphones on and didn't remove them until we were right at the desk (she did see us coming). I had to tell her the room number three times in the space of 5 minutes. It took her a while to 'log into the system'. I mentioned we needed to catch a train and that we had paid on arrival. Perhaps she could email me if anything else was needed. She said she couldn't allow us to leave until she checked the room on the system. Frankly, she needs to be taught some manners. Have never had a reply like this! Very disappointing as up until that point, the experience had been great. I'd probably consider going back but I'd be very mindful of staff and their attitude. "

"SS Rotterdam is nice experience. Reception staff wasn’t nice once we arrived early as we simply asked if early check in available and lady was so unhappy telling how busy they are and we must come after 3pm - I agree but tone and face expression could be different and all story would be different. Breakfast is nice , staff in restaurants are super friendly and doing every single extra mile if they can. Check out process super simple. Thank you for hosting us "
