This hotel is for chillers only. Just relax and forget all your worries. Fantastic food, great staff, top class facility. BUT; dont have a 2nd floor room when it's the hottest weekend of the year. Not that you'll know when you book but it was just too hot. No air conditioning just a small noisy fan so took the edge off the chill factor! However, its was a fantastic base to explore west Suffolk. Do try it.......

The hotel was fantastic for the price. Staff were all really helpful and polite. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Couldn’t empty the bath as there was no plug release! The hotel as a whole and the location was great for our needs. The decor is fantastic and there is clearly no expense spared. Great value for money and breakfast was top draw.
It is of very high standard and the staff couldn't have been anymore friendly.

The Woolpack is simply the best Inn that I’ve stayed at. Gorgeous building (complete with ghost?). Staff that are genuinely friendly, a pub packed with locals that must be the friendliest in the Country. I was lucky to be there for Thursday night karaoke… honestly I’ve arranged my diary to be there on Thursdays. If you like an authentic pub, great food, superbly comfortable accommodation and a strong community spirit.. (and maybe a ghostly nun).. then this is the best place to stay!

We battled the snow for a stay here and were so glad we did. The hotel is beautiful with all the wooden beams and real log fires and our bedroom was a really good size.
