Booked this hotel as a reasonably priced base for our city break of Rotterdam, and couldn't believe our luck. Lovely hotel out of the centre but an easy walk/metro/tram to all of the main parts. Lots of character in the room and modern fittings throughout. Staff very friendly too, always on hand to help. Would highly recommend.

This remains a great hotel - well positioned and for those who enjoy industrial views, it is amazingly situated for the old port .. a bit like Bristol. People are always wary of hotel restaurants, but the bar and restaurant are serviced by an amazing crew and the quality of the food as always in Holland is exemplary .. thanks to the hard work of the often overlooked farmers!

We had a very nice stay at the hotel and I would absolutely recommend it.
It is located in an ideal spot in the city close to the train station and most tourist attractions with Depot and Sonnevelde House literally next door.
The staff were extremely helpful when we had a few requests and were a credit to the hotel.
My only small gripe is that there aren’t enough staff on at breakfast so certain options would run out quite often. The staff were rushed off their feet and still extremely helpful...

We really enjoyed our stay here, with a well designed and comfortable room with great amenities (tea, coffee, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner). The staff were always very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a great location and we walked there from the Eurostar. The only issue is the shower screen has a gap at the bottom and water gets out and we needed a few towels to dry it up. Otherwise, we had a great stay here for an enjoyable long weekend in Rotterdam.

I stayed for 9 nights and was very pleased. Friendly staff, a good selection breakfast buffet and comfortable room. The hotel is on a fairly quiet side street but with plenty of restaurants and cafes around the corner. A 10-15 minutes walk to the railway station, Delfshaven, the main museums or shopping district. If you add another 10-15 minutes of walking you can reach most sites in Rotterdam e g the Waterbus (ferry) to Kinderdijk and take in the views at the same time. Public transport nearby...
