Elevator broke down and staff didn't turn it off. It stopped between floors. Staff didn't know that but told me they knew what was happen. They clearly didn't. They knew they're were problems and if they had let me finish my sentence they would have known. Also, at 8am they had not replenished the self service code from the evening before.

Upper-scale hotel with quality furnishings and amenities. The rooms are a fair size by European standards but rather small by North American standards. Some rooms require negotiating a series of half-length staircases with your luggage, but the staff are willing to assist.

The hotel was very clean. The sustainability goals are wonderful and the concept is great. The contact to the staff was through WhatsApp and an AI which was not great. Our room was very hot. The system was central control and when I asked the AI to cool it turned on the heat. After multiple attempts to communicate, I had to get dressed again and go to the lobby to find a human.
The room was nice and the pillows were great but the mattress could have been better.
We would probably stay again but next time would discuss the room temperature before we tried to sleep.
