Lovely hotel in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tober. A nice warm welcome, hotel staff were lovely especially in the morning at breakfast. Nice choice of food all served to our table. Our room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. We have stayed at this hotel before and although it is under new ownership it still is perfect. Will definitely be back !!

This is a delightful hotel it seems to grow out of the wall of the old city with fantastic views across wooded hills. The rooms are very comfortably and stylishly furnished and room 1 as well as a four post bed has its own private garden which is truly delightful to sit in during the summer. Sehr zentral gelegen aber trotzdem ruhig. Kleines Manko, dass ich an einem Freitag (obwohl allein unterwegs) ohne Reservierung keinen Platz im Restaurant ergattern konnte (bzw. Tisch wäre erst 1 Stunde später verfügbar) - es gibt aber in der Altstadt viele anderen Restaurants. Frühstück war sowas von toll: kein normales Frühstücksbuffet, sondern pro Gast/Zimmer/Gruppe frisch servierten Optionen mit reichlichen Brotkörben, Käse/Schinkenplatten sowie Ei und Kaffee/Saft nach Wunsch. Just to note-lovely brilliant stay but there is no air con if that is on your ‘must’ list Great stay-breakfast adequate and enough-usual fayre. We ate evening meal in restaurant and service and food were excellent-would recommend 👍 As there were two of us travelling -plus-there were actually 2 x chairs in the room to sit on

We arrived very late due to flight delays but owner stayed in contact and we were able to check in with no problem. Service was good and excellent location

Lovely rural location but only 6 miles from Rothenburg. Dog friendly. Pretty room with plenty of hot water and nice shower. Helpful owners. Quiet. Nice restaurant.

They let us stay in the room where Dalia Lama once stayed and we felt honoured and privileged. We left Munich to drive towards Rotherburg and then on to the hotel. It was such a memorable journey in that the country side scenic was overwhelmingly beautiful..... We want to come back to this part of Germany next year and stay at this wonderful hotel.

The staff here are professional, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and Uli in particular made us feel special. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for the way it treats it's guests, it's comfort and it's proximity to Rothenburg.

Stunning hotel, odd location and lot of construction work going on around the hotel but couldn’t hear it from your room.

A beautiful, family-run, hotel in a lovely location within a reasonable (€20) taxi run of Rothenburg. Nice kitchen and a good bathroom in an annexed family suite. Excellent breakfast and kind staff. Would absolutely recommend and visit again.
