This is a charming old German hotel. I believe it has been in the same family for many years. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and made sure our stay was good. We were there in March so it was not busy. The breakfast was lovely! We would definitely stay there again! Make sure you do the Night Watchman tour - it was an excellent way to end the day in Rothenburg!

Had such a wonderful time in this beautiful town and beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spotless, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent! It was a pleasure staying at this Hotel and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Rothenburg!

The fact that we looked out our bathroom window at a medieval fortress wall, and the historic nature of the hotel made it extremely memorable. We loved walking into the town square and around the town from the hotel. We did have a little challenge with getting our breakfasts, but once those were resolved, we had a very pleasant experience.
