The overall experience was great. Dinner costs were much cheaper if added as part of the initial reservation and I wish I had done that since dining options were limited because of seasonal closures.

Good comes to mind, nothing bad, but simply good.
This was a break from our normal Hotels, so, it was a bit different in terms of experience. All we can say is there was nothing intrinsically wrong with this hotel but nothing that made us say, wow! One thing that we did like was the Spa as the facilities were great and the service second to none. We are not used to buffet evening meals and the experience didn't enthuse us to go back, or, take that type of option in the future.

For me - once is enough
I stayed for 8 nights. I will start with the positives: 1. Extremely clean, everywhere. 2. Both Pool areas are great. Private, tranquil. 3. Restaurants are very nice, breakfast is very good. 4. Spa area is very nice. 5. Beds are extremely comfortable. 6. Showers are hot. Not so good: 1. Rooms are tired - need updates. Uncomfortable chairs and stained grout in the floor tiles. 2. It is extremely noisy in the rooms. You can hear everyone in the hallway, outside the balcony, above you and next to you. I was near the entrance of the building and heard the door slamming all day. 3. The gym is in need of an update. The elliptical had duct taped handles and the rest of the machines were also worn. 4. Although there is ample parking available on sight, they charge you 15€ to use it. Most people opt to park on the street. A nuisance fee for guests. 5. Two of the three employees I interacted with at the front desk were rude and unhelpful - actually rather disinterested. 6. The air conditioning unit in the room was worthless. The room was mostly humid and damp, and the AC did not keep it cool. The thermostat looked like it was 20 years old. There are no fans and the front desk, when I said the AC wasn’t working replied - do you really want someone to check it? I love the Barceló brand and use it frequently. Sadly, this location has made me want to look elsewhere. Maybe because it was August and they are busy regardless.

The hotel was very nice and clean! The food inside the hotel restaurants was amazing and at a decent price. However, the room became very hot at night time. The golf course view from the room was amazing. Playing the course was decently priced as well. Plenty of parking and in a very quiet location. The only complaint would be the a/c not working at night.

A five star memorable stay over there
It has been a great experience and the jacuzzi at the balcony was a wonderful addition to the already very satisfying short trip. And then the golf course was so near. Just needed less than two hour to finish the 9 holes of par 3. A five star memorable stay over there.

Excellent hotel. The staff were very helpful. The room was very nice. Wonderful breakfast buffet was complimentary. The dinner buffet was good but over-priced. Pool was nice. I couldn't get into the fitness center, but we did go before the summer season really got under way. The surrounding shops were not yet open. Hours of operation for shops and restaurants took some getting used to for Americans, but that's the way Europe operates.

Lovely bright, spacious hotel. Quiet location with fabulous beach nearby & good pools. Buffet food was plentiful with lots of choice but bar food was very limited. Bedroom very clean & well equipped but bed could be firmer. Good value for money & would certainly recommend.

Great stay
The hotel was clean, friendly staff and great service. The food was excellent, the drinks were reasonably priced and the bar was a comfortable area. Good location for the beach and positioned well for Cadiz, Puerta Santa María and Chipiona.

Worth a visit!
A great stay in a good hotel in a quiet and beautiful resort. Not much life in the evenings but the most relaxing holiday venue with a never ending beach! The hotel had great food and excellent, very clean, refurbished rooms (2018). The staff were great and did everything they could to please. A very spanish hotel, which was great!

Resort area. Bed was very comfortable, although there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room. Limited TV in English but they do have a few channels in English. Breakfast very good wide variety of food.

My stay at the hotel was amazing, rating them 10/10. Great customer services. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. The location of the hotel is convenient , just walking distance to the beach.

Nice hotel in an amenable location, in the middle of a golf course in Rota. Walking distance from the beach, walkable neighborhood, close to shopping mall, but not a big one. The room was smaller than I expected, the breakfast good but not outstanding. Just a good experience.

Nice hotel close to Naval base
The hotel and location was overall good. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Dining and use of the bar was convenient and food was great. I didn't give 5 stars because I arrived on a Sunday (day before reporting to Naval base) only to find out that the hotel did not have an iron. Having to hunt for an iron on a Sunday when most places are closed was a complete headache.

The hotel staff is amazing and very helpful at even providing ideas of places to visit nearby. Mr. Manuel from the breakfast buffet was the highlight of the place. His willingness to prepare you food with a great attitude was really nice. I would come back to this hotel at any time. You can visit towns and cities like Rota, Cadiz, Sevilla, Jerez de la Frontera, different pueblos blancos and even Gibraltar from here. We definitely had a very good time during our stay.

Great choice, with a great price.
Stayed here for work. Close to base and Jerez airport. Not hard to get to. There are some good paths with the golf course and beach front close by. Room is spacious and in decent shape. The breakfast was on point. No valid reason to walk away hungry from that.

It was nice. Room comfortable but no drawers to put clothes away. Had to stack them in the closet or on top of the counter. Could not use the in-room safe unless you paid a certain amount per day. Also had to pay approx $10/Day to park at the hotel. Pools were beautiful. Nice bar area. Friendly staff.

In reference to the use of the safe in the room, please note, that it is, as well as the minibar, Spa facilities or parking, an extra service available for our guests paying an additional price according to the hotels category and area. We offer the possibility to make use of the private parking in the hotel's outdoor area or in our underground garage. Guests could also park their car along the avenue right in front of the hotel and actually many of our customers park their vehicles there. Even we feel sorry that you were not fully satisfied with the room comfort this time, it is a pleasure for us to inform you that we have planned an improvement within the next months. Thanks to the suggestions received by our customers the renovation includes the implementation of drawers and shelves in order to create more space in the wardrobes for your belongings.
