"Staff were friendly and helpful. Although my breakfast was included I never had it as if finishes 9.30 am and I eat after 10am. Had to ask just for a spare sheet as I don't use duvets. My pillowcases was mismatched white sheets cream pillowcase looked dirty because of colour difference but exchanged no problem. Didn't use pool as too many kids. Walls are paper thin so could hear lots of noise and doors banging. Ideal for adults with kids wouldn't recommend for single women room was very small, and the walk through park was fine in day but not the evening. Overall pleasant stay just not for me im afraid."

"We arrived and the check-in process was quick, as there were no queues. The room size was reasonable; however, there were only two drawers and no wardrobe just a small rail to hang stuff on which was somewhat inconvenient. Breakfast was decent, but there were no staff readily available. As the hotel was quite full, this led to some difficulty in finding a table to sit at."

"Our room looked out to sea it was on the third floor with good views the furnishings were dated but the decor was clean the bathroom was dated and was in a rather poor condition the public areas were clean the bar area was large with an opulent feel of a bygone time but the disappointing thing for us was the our lift was broken and we were not informed of this at reception"

"Lots of broken glass on the floor in the garden by BBQ.Shower had no effective temperature control and the water was boiling hot, coupled with a poor flow rate and spray.Kitchen blind was absolutely filthy and broken in many places.The kitchen had only one fork, plus limited other types of cutlery and cooking utensils.The room was freezing, so we made up a hot water bottle which had perished and thus leaked hot water all over my leg.Shower door doesn't work properly and the tray doesn't drain leaving you standing in cold water whilst trying to dodge the boiling water coming out of the head.The finish on the whole dwelling is poor and in desperate need of a refresh (flooring all ripped, no skirting boards and dust and crud in the gaps between the flooring and the wall).The bedding and towels did not smell as though they had been recently laundered, the mattress was on a divan covered in ply wood so was very uncomfortable.Unfortunately, whilst in a good location, we don't feel able to give a positive review - apologies."

"The instructions for entry were misleading & it took over an hour to work out what they meant. There were 3 steep & sharp steps to the front door & no hand rail. The dining room furniture was a table on wheels which wouldn't lock, no chairs but 2 wooden benches from a garden set. Neither lavatory had a properly fitting seat. On Saturday the builder next door was apparently stripping wood on the party wall. The noise was so loud the telephone answerer couldn't hear me on the phone. I was told they would look into a change of house & would get back to me. By Tuesday when the noise started up again, they had not. I requested at least a partial refund but received no answer"
