I stayed in a triple room (one “double,” which is really two twins pushed together, plus one small twin). The bathroom was tiny, but everything was clean. It’s very well situated and walkable to most attractions plus a train station to get to the Vatican. The breakfast, albeit free, wasn’t ideal and we did end up eating elsewhere so if you plan to fill up for the day it might not be possible with the offering. Overall, the staff were lovely, it was quiet and well kept and we had no problems at all. Reception Day Manager and staff were very helpful, efficient and very polite. Here's the but!! - on returning to the hotel Saturday night about 9.50 the door was locked - one of our party tried the door then rang the bell (as instructed on information) - she tried the door a second time to make sure she had not made a mistake by pushing/pulling the wrong way. When the Night Manager arrived he spoke to her with a really aggressive manner. He was totally inappropriate being very arrogant, using all sorts of hand gestures and raising his voice. They had a nice terrace to sit in the evening. Breakfast was dull and sparse the same every day. Rooms were small which was not unexpected for the cost.
