We booked the Spanish Suites 66 via di Ripetta in a queen room with continental breakfast.
When we arrived they put us in another property at a different address. This was not what we booked. The manager was no help. The property at Via Vittoria 24 was supposed to be non smoking yet the people across the hall were smoking. When I text the manager I was asked if the lady smoking was one of their clients? Who else would it be? The place was a rooming house and why they did not know who this person was.
We were asked if there is something we can do to make us feel better.
Yes, put us were we booked in the room we booked.
Then no more answers from the manager. Called and was told someone would call right back. Never got that call.
The pictures on line at expedia are nothing to what we stayed in. The whole experience was awful. We have asked for a refund and Expedia has emailed and called the hotel for 10 days now. In ten days no one has been available or answered the emails.
Then to make matters worst at 10:30am (check out at 11am) a man knocks on the door to check us out.
We booked a room based on the pictures provided not a run of the house place us anywhere you want. This is bad business for Expedia and we are still waiting to be funded.
