From the large terrace of the apartment you can enjoy a fabulous view at 180 ° on Rome TERRACE PAMPHILI is the right choice for your stay in a quiet and elegant. It has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, living room, warm and welcoming, has an ancient plate rack. We are in the Monteverde Vecchio (from greenish tint tuff that make up the hill) .This leafy district place behind the Janiculum which offers the most 'beautiful view of Rome, is universally recognized as one of the most elegant and welcoming of all citta'.I his views have made Monteverde Vecchio the ideal set for numerous films and photo shoots Monteverde Vecchio made the star of movies and photographic shoots. They filmed in Monteverde Vecchio Woody Allen, Paolo Sorrentino, Federico Fellini, Pier Paolo Pasolini and recently the latest 007 film. E 'perfectly situated: central enough to be a 30-minute walk from Trastevere, but enough to feel distant from the urban chaos and smog of the city center. Thanks to the great Villa Pamphili, Villa Sciarra and the Janiculum, tanks green neighborhood, the air is noticeably cooler and less polluted than even in Trastevere which is just ten minutes down the hill. The traffic is mostly local, with good parking .The public transport is good and easy to reach Piazza Venezia, the very heart of the city and Termini Station. Outdoor bars restaurants and ice cream shops are scattered around the neighborhood. It 'a fact that those who come to live here, hard to leave. Monteverde Vecchio district is a multi-lingual. Many foreign institutions such as the American Academy, American University of Rome, Institutum Romanum Norvegiae are based here. From the apartment you can easily reach on foot or by public transport, the historical center. According to Google Maps these are the distances and the time needed to walk to some destinations: § Janiculum (1.2 km-15 minutes), § Vatican (2.3 km -32 minutes) § Piazza Venezia, the heart of the city (2.7 km -36 minutes) § Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere (1.7 km- 25 minutes). § Stazione Trastevere (2.2km-30 minutes). The condo and deck are beautiful, offering excellent views, day and night. There are a lot of coffee shops around, and the nearby restaurant Eden, and their staff shouldn’t be missed. They made us food every night, we just asked them to bring us plates and it was all incredible, especially if you like seafood. We walked everywhere and it never seemed that far, maybe 20 minutes to the Vatican, broken up by an expresso and pastry. Paola was there to welcome me and show me around, and was a gracious and helpful hostess. The apartment is ideally suitable for a single person or couple and is comfortably furnished with all the essential conveniences. The building is situated in a pleasant 20th-century neighborhood a certain distance from the center of town, but easily connected to it by bus. Or one can walk -- it doesn't take much more than half an hour to walk downhill to the Vatican, and even less to Trastevere. I would definitely stay here again. ##### Louise R. Tout est prévu pour le confort des vacanciers (barbecue, table, transat, douche extérieure) sans oublier l’accueil de Paola qui est très disponible et nous a donné des indications et conseils pour visiter. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture durant toute la semaine dans le quartier où, c’est important de le préciser, le stationnement est gratuit. Imagine a cozy apartment on top of a building with wide windows and light and being welcome by nice and available owners, imagine having breakfast or lunch on the east part of the 120 M2 terrace with a view on the beautiful park of villa Pamphili, imagine a 10 minute walk down to Trastevere via the Gianicolo or a 20 minute ride with the bus 44 to Teatro Marcello and Piazza Venezia, imagine watching the sunset on Rome with the mountains in the background from the west part of the terrace, imagine the nice restaurants in the neighborhood, what else ? Il est parfait pour un couple d'amoureux. La terrasse permet aux beaux jours de profiter pleinement de la situation géographique et de boire un verre en toute tranquillité. L'appartement est à 30 mn de Trastevere à pieds (quartier des restaurants), mais le bus 44 permet d'être en 10 mn dans le centre de Rome. Tout est fait pour le confort des locataires, et Paola nous a facilité la vie en réservant pour nous un chauffeur de l'aéroport. Paola "bombarderede" os med oplysninger i sin iver på at være så behjælpelig som overhovedet muligt. Lejligheden er pæn og lækker, indrettet på den gamle traditionelle italienske måde,´blandet med lidt nyt. Alt er superfunktionelt og køkkenet har hvad man skal bruge. Tagterrassen med udsigt over til Peterskirken slår alt. Dejlig spise område med udendørs gasgrill, fedt liggeområde med kold udendørsbruser. Beligenheden er fantastisk. Ca 2-3 km til alt: Colloseum, Vatikanstaten, Piazza Navona, Fontana Trevi mm. Lige overfor ligger der en stor dejlig park. Absolut anbefalelsesværdigt.
