The hotel was amazing, the breakfast in the morning included a meat plate with cheese and ham, a handcrafted coffee and juice. The staff was friendly and even though we arrived late they gave us the keys and let us finish check in the morning. I had zero issues with either. The staff was unbelievable!!!! They made sure we had breakfast each day. The lady at the desk showed us several places to go and how to get there as well as what scams and traps to stay away from. The staff at the restaurant was magnificent as well. Our room was beautiful and looked right out at the colosseum and it was fairly quiet for the most part. We could not sleep at all. There was a club under our room, absolutely loud. My husband and I are not picky about places to stay at but this place was horrible. We tried to close the door and window that faces right into the upstairs restaurant and servers would keep opening the doors and being loud. The breakfast was ok. Really nothing fancy. Only Good thing was capuccino but thats about it. So if you are willing to stay up until 3:00am after a long day at Rome then book it . But i would not recommend this place at all. My and I are 25 and 27 and it was a nightmare . Our room had a grand view of the Colosseum and for that alone I would recommend staying here. The hotel is located about a mile or so away from the main tourist attractions (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona); however, if you are an active individual, the walk isn't bad at all. If you are a light sleeper, you may have an issue with the location because there is a lot of traffic that passes by (especially ambulances and police cars) since the hotel is located on a busy street and the locals congregated on the corner at night by a local bar on the side street, but it did not bother my husband and I. The only complaints that we had were that our room was a bit dated, the shower flooded, and the wifi on the second floor did not work so we had a very weak signal from the first floor's wifi. Great location, directly opposite the Colosseum. Comfortable, good sized room with safe for valuables. Our room was at the side with sideways view of the Colosseum, some rooms face it. Some noise from road and bar downstairs, but bedroom double-glazed, so no problems sleeping. Good continental, buffet breakfast served in Restaurant downstairs, lots of sliced meats, cheese, bread and pastries, orange juice and good coffee. Staff very friendly and Catia at reception during the day made us very welcome, spoke excellent English and gave us lots of information where to go and how to get there.
