Safe area for walking around with a few restaurants in the area. Room 102 newly renovated to an extremely high standard, including comfortable bed, excellent shower and facilities. Breakfast room is on 5th floor which served freshly baked pastries, fruit, nuts etc and yoghurt setting you up for a good start for the day. All staff lovely and helpful, immaculately clean too. The lift is extremely antiquated but that adds to the charm of the place in our opinion as all these properties are old buildings. Other rooms being renovated so need to bare with this at the moment. We had some trouble with the exterior door so we were given a code to enter the building. There is an old style elevator (cage like) to get to your floor. It worked fine. Everything in the room was good. You fill out a menu for breakfast and a tray is brought to your room. Continental breakfast. Breakfast was plenty for us .
