There is even an ancient site across the street and beautiful views of Rome can be seen from the accessible rooftop. It’s a family owned and run business and we met 2 of the 3 brothers. They were so nice and personable. We stayed in one of the classic rooms. Read the history of them! It was quaint and quintessentially old ROME. We stayed in La Bianca…The room has antiques and a very quiet and comfortable! The hotel is surrounded by $359 to $550 a night hotels. It offers a very reasonable price and the area is very safe. Communication is excellent. Big thanks to Barbara who stayed after her shift ended to welcome us and talk us through how to make best use of our 3 days in Rome. Suprised to have access to fully functional kitchen with Classic bedrooms. Large room with great a/c and shower. Lots of original features and furniture. Organised airport transfers. Our daughter loved the lift up to the 'secret' rooftop terrace, where you could see the colosseum. The breakfast was continental style with lots of choice and great coffee! Everything was within walking distance so the location was just perfect. I could not recommend this residence enough and if we come back to Rome it will be the first place we check for availability. A building of great character and quality, with not only a spacious room but also excellent additional spaces for sitting and catering (kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer) shared between only three rooms in our case. On top of all of this, it literally faces on to the main fora of the historic Roman centre and has a roof garden with an incredible view encompassing the Colosseum, the Pallatine and Trajan's column.
