I booked this hotel because it looked like the option with the best breakfast near Termini Station. It is right across the street. I was flying in that day with a connecting flight, staying two nights and wanted someplace easy to get to from the airport train even late at night.
This is an old hotel, but very convenient and clean. My room had a window opening on a miniscule balcony which I used to chill my drinks.
The hotel was packed with a Russian tour group and the two people stocking the buffet were racing around restocking. The Russians left by 8:30 am.
The elevator is the size of a phone booth. I walked up and down even with my minimal luggage. I left the elevator for others.
I have many electronics to charge so I had adequate extension cords and chargers. I used two outlets.
I liked it enough to book it for two nights in my way home.
On my way home, I booked a twin rather than double room.
It was adequate but I will book a double room in the future.
I am a NYC native. I live across the street from a 5 star plus hotel. There are garbage trucks at 4 am. If you are sensitive to noise, get industrial ear plugs or stay on a high floor of a hermetically sealed chain hotel.
