The only problem was that Uber wouldn't pick you up from the hotel in that area and we had to walk with our luggages to meet the driver few streets away, and it's really difficult to roll the luggages on those streets uneven stone pavements. You can't beat the location just a little over a block from the Spanish Steps and some really good restaurants. Morning breakfast was delicious. I happen to be in Rome in April, and we experienced a bit of a heat wave. I will say the air conditioning in my tiny room just wasn’t adjustable or sufficient. I had to sleep with the window open all night long. Small fridge inside the room I suggest buy water from the markets and stock it up you will need it for the summer . Do not travel in July and August it’s extremely hot and humid. In the heart of Rome so walkable to Trevor Fountain (10 minutes), Spanish Steps (7 minutes), shopping galore. It’s located on a small quiet street across from Miu Miu & Chanel, Gucci just around the corner. Also, banks, restaurants (Dilla Restaurant-highly recommend) all around so the location is perfect. The hotel, however, is so very old and dirty. I stayed in the triple room (double bed & 1 twin bed downstairs with the bathroom) & the last night was $650 Euro which was exorbitant for a tiny room with no light. It was dingy & musty and the bathroom was horrible (moldy). I love the staff who was very friendly & helpful but the hotel was terrible. So, if you stay there, bring a candle to mask the smell. The hotel is completely outdated, the room was very dirty. Aside from the fact that the room was very outdated and the decor was old and dark. The room I stayed in was extremely dirty! The walls had stains on it, the mattress was a hard cardboard, the bathroom tiles were grimy and the bathroom ceiling near the shower had mold. I paid $900 a night (taxes included) for this hotel… I was expecting for the rooms to at least be clean and fresh. It was completely overpriced for what it is and was a total waste of money!
