Our room was pristine and cleaned everyday. When we arrived even though it was before our check-in time they provided us with a room to freshen up and change our clothes from the 9 hour flight we had just taken to get there. Next they provided us with a place to store our luggage so we didn't need to rent a "luggage locker" in the city before we could check-in. They explained how the keys worked and how to access everything. In the evening it is so quiet and peaceful that if you lay in the bed you can hear your own heartbeat. It's the best place to stay in Roma, in fact the furthest distance we traveled from the hotel to an attraction was only 36 minutes on foot. It is perfectly located in between every attraction that first time visitors want to see. This includes the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Vatican City, the Spanish Steps, The Basilica of San Clemente, all of it is accessible from this location if you don't mind a little bit of walking. If you do there are taxi's everywhere that will take you where you want to go. I cannot say enough great things about the staff and the accommodations other than to say they are simply top-notch! When we go back next year this will definitely be the place where we will be residing for our trip! The Guardian Hotel ended up squeezing us in and was a lovely stay. Receptionist was helpful and nice. They even help me to take some of the luggages into the room as they were too heavy for me. No towels and soap were given during this stay and it was unexpected. Small room that only one luggage could be opened but the room was in good condition.
