The host, Mabri, was extremely kind and helpful in sharing the best places to visit. Located very close to the Rome train station, we were able to walk to the property upon arriving and then walk throughout Rome during our trip without needing to take the bus or train one time. The facilities were much better than I expected for the price we paid, as the room and bathroom were very clean and in great shape. Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. Pillows were amazing! Johnny was very nice and helpful during our short stay. They came in daily to make the beds. Was not expecting that but it was nice after our long days in Rome. He even recommended a restaurant a street over that we enjoyed. Some people mention this area is dangerous. I didn’t feel that way in the least even at 12am my husband and I walked home from eating and drinking by the coliseum. Never once felt unsafe. Just be vigilant. Little tip for first timers in Rome. All the staff we met were hospitable and helpful. The private room included two safes for storage of valuables, and ample place to store clothes and other stuff. The shared (w one other room) bathroom was very clean, though the hot water wasn't the most plentiful. We felt safe at all times, as there were three locked doors to pass from the street, and a no guest policy. We loved the location and access to downtown, especially busses and main terminal.
