The location was great to have walking access to both the Trastavere neighborhood and areas like the Colosseum, and the neighborhood was quiet. The room was modern, clean and comfortable despite being an older building. The landlord and cleaning staff were very friendly. Communication before the trip was clear and helpful. What a fantastic hotel. A huge room, excellent amenities, amazingly helpful staff (thank you, Jessica for all your advice), and a location that is second to none. 20 minutes or so walking distance to all the main attractions, but you are staying away from the tourist traps and in a neighborhood that is overflowing with great restaurants, stores, and cozy Roman vibe. Special shout out to Da Enzo”s restaurant, the best meal we had during our stay, and literally steps away from the hotel. However, it's well located on one of the quieter streets of Trastevere. On the plus side the room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet with a relatively contemporary feel. On the negative side, we didn't initially receive the code needed to access the property which was a little stressful when we arrived fairly late in the evening. That was sorted quickly however. We had a problem with the electrical socket in the bedroom not working which meant no kettle/coffee machine and we had to charge phones in the bathroom. We asked twice for this to be looked at but it was not resolved. The shower head also sprayed more water upwards than downwards which also wasn't ideal. The wardrobe was also a little bit tatty. The general feeling was that with 10% more effort this place this place could be excellent. Lots of closet space and large windows. Exactly as advertised and pictures shown on their website. Room was very clean, comfortable and modern. Location is perfect within 15-20 mins walk to most of the tourist sites and in the Trastevere district. Lots of Restaurants steps away. The staff were amazing. Jessica was fantastic!!!
