It’s just a short walk from St. Peter’s Square, making it very convenient for attending Mass, papal audiences, or exploring the area at your own pace. The rooms are spacious, which is a plus in a city like Rome. However, the furniture and decor feel a bit dated, and the hotel would benefit from some renovation. That said, the room was clean and comfortable for sleeping. The breakfast was very good: a nice selection of sweet and savory items, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, it’s a practical, well-located option if proximity to the Vatican is your main priority. The staff was fantastic. The room was small, but was fine. Good internet signal, enough for Zoom meetings. Breakfast was a decent buffet. AC worked fast and well. One of the things I really liked is that it’s away from the really touristy parts of Rome, making it much more quiet. It was a relief to get away from that part of the city. At the same time, you could walk to the Vatican in 8 minutes, and to the Forum in 30\. And it was a great walk over some beautiful bridges. That may be a little long for some folks, but it was good for me. (I noticed that the Rick Steves tour was staying there, so you know it’s a good place to be.) Yes, the decor is a bit dated, but I would happily stay in this hotel again.
