What a hidden gem this place is. Placed close to St. Peter’s, I can walk anywhere from here, or take a bus from the bus stop right or the front door. The room was clean, modern, and had a great view. Honestly recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B. The rooms were comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. The location is very convenient for visiting the Vatican, as it’s just a short walk away. Additionally, most of the major attractions are easily accessible either on foot or by taking a quick public bus ride, making it an ideal base for exploring the city.

We had a wonderful experience here and I would 10/10 stay here again. The room is huge, super clean, and in a perfect location. A coffee station and snacks were provided, which was such a lovely surprise. I absolutely loved it.

Exactly what we were looking for. Perfect!

Room was very spacious and clean. We had a king bed plus there was room for one more person on the large sofa bed. The location is close to all the main attractions, restaurants and a local market. We walked everywhere. The hospitality we received from Veronica was like we were family. I would definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

Perfect hotel for 1 week in Rome

Had a wonderful stay for a full week in Rome at Charme 308! The staff communicated with us leading up to our arrival and shared some great cafe, lunch and dinner recommendations for us in the area when we arrived. The area was very safe, away from large busy crowds, and easy access to many restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes. All sites were within a 25 minute walk or less. The room was very comfortable, clean, and had regular cleaning days if you needed new towels or bedding. Snacks, water, and single serve espresso machine is in the lobby area. We had the balcony room so we had double door enclosures. With the windows open it could be very noisy at night, but the doors were sound proof and quiet. Would highly recommend and stay there again!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation itself was clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located for both visiting Rome's landmarks on the East side of the river, as well as the Vatican City on the West side. Staff are great, friendly and very helpful. Location is great, many restaurants options around the hotel. Walking distance to attractions. The hotel is so clean, new bedrooms, beds are very comfortable and clean. Washrooms are so clean. There are always snacks in the small lobby, a coffee, tea and espresso machine. The plates, cups and utensils and displayed nicely in a glass cupboard. It’s a fantastic place.

Luxurious room in a central location

Before arriving we were in contact with the staff to confirm arrival time via WhatsApp. We ended up being quicker through the airport than we expected, but it was easy to send a quick text in the taxi to let them know we would be slightly earlier, which was no problem. We were welcomed on arrival and given great recommendations for walking routes and places to eat. The room was absolutely spotless, huge, bright and airy. The room was cleaned daily, to pristine condition every time. Air conditioning was easy to use, quiet at night, and worked well. The street outside is busy all day from morning to late evening but the windows are totally soundproofed so we were never disturbed, even on nights where we went to sleep early for a 6am start the next morning. The location is perfect for exploring Vatican City, and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II allows for walking directly elsewhere in the city. There is a Carrefour Express shop a few doors down, and as many coffee shops convenience shops as you could need within the immediate vicinity. We had a fabulous stay, and we will certainly be back.

We loved our room and the staff was very friendly! The only thing that was not as desirable was the very busy street, however that is not a reflection of the hotel and more so the whole city of Rome. We would stay again due to the amenities and comfortable bed!
