We had a great time at the Best Vatican. Self check-in with clear instructions from managment; nice bed and bathroom, and they served a fabulous breakfast in your room in a cute cart/tray. The lady that took care of us was amazing, everything was very nice. We would definitely recommend Best Vatican if you're coming to Rome and want to be very close to the Vatican.

Great find near Vatican!

This boutique hotel was wonderfull. Great location near the Vatican and good restaurants close by. We loved the room service in the morning. We also booked our car to the airport through the hotel and that service was awesome especially because the we were having a hard time getting taxis anywhere because the city was very crowded during our visit.

From start to finish our stay at the Best Vatican was great. The virtual keys we were sent were a brilliant idea and Elena responded quickly to our email about what to do on our arrival. She was a very pleasant helpful lady who made a lovely breakfast trolley up for us every morning and brought it to our room at our requested time. Our room was perfect and very comfortable and the building the apartment was in was quiet and felt very safe. If we were to return to Rome one day we would not hesitate to stay here again.

We chose this B&B because of it's location to the Vatican, which was a 10 minute walk to our tour starting point, and its ratings, but we didn't know anything about it. Communication regarding checking in was great, and the staff person was amazing. Breakfast was abundant, fresh, and delivered on a trolley to your room, not served in a common area as I expected. The B&B itself is on the third floor of an older European building which houses other apartments and offices. There is a small elevator to help travellers with their suitcases. The rooms are clean and have been modernized. Because of the building's age, there was a somewhat higher than expected noise level. The area quietened down after 11, though. The only drawback in our particular suite, though, was the strong smell of mould in the bathroom, which had obviously being cleaned. The fan didn't seem to work either. This odor seemed specific to our room since there the bathroom in the common area was fine. It's a problem that management should definitely attend to. Still, for a short stay that's very near the Vatican and metro stations, this place was ideal. There is great shopping nearby, as well as lots of local places to eat.

What an amazing place this is. Yes the rooms are on the small size but it has everything you need and is clean . The location is fantastic. About 2 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station Ottaviano. So close to walk to the Vatican area too. The breakfast trolley that is brought to your room in the morning by Nicoleta is such a lovely touch. Just enough to fill you up to start your day. You get a choose of how you want your eggs cooked and a choice of hot drink too. Also comes with pastries cereal toast yogurts and fruit. Nicoleta is so lovely and really looks after you. There is a supermarket literally minutes away too. We felt very safe in this area at night too as its just a lovely location. You wont be disappointed if you book here.

I really enjoyed my stay. Short distance to the public transport. You can also walk to the different attractions in Rome. Good restaurants close by to the hotel. The hotel staff was really nice, and the service was good. I will definitely recommend the hotel to other guests. The hotel has a high standard, you get a lot for the money.

We really enjoyed staying @ the Best Vatican B&B, it is within walking distance to the Musei Vatican. Our room was clean, the bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, however our host brought us a lovely tray of fresh fruit, muffins and water. The subway was within walking distance and there were many taxis available. Also the neighborhood has many great restaurants, so go and explore.

Very good place to stay in Rome. The apartment located on the 3rd floor of the old building with elevator and is in walking distance from Vatican. The only thing what is a little complicated for some people is the Virtual keys, what you have to use just one time - when you arrive. My suggestion- pay attention to your e-mails and to WhatsApp or Viber messages - you gonna get a link for virtual keys there, read the instruction in the email and you will have no difficulties to get in (we did not have them). Also, the owners can be contacted via messenger, email or phone if you have any questions or issues. There is small refrigerator and teapot in the room and coffeemaker in the common area. Decent breakfast, served in your room - you have to make selections the night before and will get it at the exact time you’ve ordered it. Very convenient mattress and pillows soft or firm- depending on your preferences. There is AC with the remote control in the room and excellent WiFi connection. There are plenty of the restaurants and little stores around the area (some of them closed on Mondays though).

Lovely b&b a short walk from Vatican City, the metro is round the corner and some lovely restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was delicious, setting us up for the long days of walking around Rome.
