The room we had the first night was very modern looking but had no closet or dresser and only a glass shelf for a nightstand. When we got into the right room, the furniture was a bit older but much more practical. There was a closet, a small dresser and 2 nightstands. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning service was good. Most of the staff were very friendly. We paid for the breakfast which was a nice buffet that included fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, cereal, nuts and seeds, bread, cheeses and cold cuts. There were also scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and potatoes, but they were often cold. The staff in the breakfast area were very helpful and made fresh espresso and cappuccino upon request. They had soy milk available as well. The pool was beautiful and well maintained with plenty of lounging chairs and umbrellas. The only drawback was that the entire pool was deep, which was difficult for swimming with young children. The hotel was located a bit further from downtown than we expected but there was a bus stop nearby. There is a shuttle service to the nearest metro station a couple of times a day but we didn’t find out about it until our last day. There was a grocery store and a home store, with a bit of everything, a few minutes walk from the hotel. On the same strip there was a café, a couple of fast food places and a restaurant.
