The location of this property is fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Lots of local eateries nearby and also a small grocery store for buying drinks etc. We had a room on the top floor and had read reviews about all the stairs / no lift. We honestly found it to be no problem at all, and we were travelling with a 3yo and 5yo. The stairs would only be an issue if you were seriously unfit or have mobility issues in my view. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the breakfast staff weren’t particularly cheerful, and as half our party were dairy free there were limited options (as it’s a set breakfast including yoghurt, cheese, cake, and no alternative milks available for tea/coffee. But we were able to eat the ham and bread and lovely juice. Not a big problem, just bring your own if in similar position.
