"The hotel is a very short wslk from the Old Town with all its restaurants and other attractions. Our room on the 5th gloor had a wonderful view over the neighbouring buildings out to sea. The breakast was good. There was some building work going on in the hotel when we were there in esrly June but this did not disturb us."

"The hotel is nice, but quite old. The room was certainly not worth the 4-star rating. The food was good but not exceptional. The staff were courteous, but, due to several different teams working there, some things were overlooked (for example I was not told that, on a specific evening, there would be no dinner before 8:30pm - to their credit the restaurant staff did make me a sandwich at 7:30pm, as I did not want to wait until 8:30pm to eat). "The hotel doesn’t feel four star until you get to your room which we liked . However there was noise from other rooms which could be easily heard . On our last night a large gathering of local people was hosted in a conference room and the music was thumping until 11.15 so it’s not just a hotel for tourists ! The bar staff were all excellent and so helpful . The reception staff were a bit ‘cool’. The shuttle bus into town is a great service. The small beach is nice and we used it twice "
