"I had a traditional Japanese room with a massage chair, balcony and view at the green mountains. It was super awesome and had a restful sleep. I visited the onsen bath as well which was very nice and refreshing."

"Very nice. Helpful staff. Very nice restaurant that you must pay for (not included). Great location just steps away from the train (located across the street), though you cannot hear it. The north side exits out onto a cute little walking street with lots of small vendors/eateries."

"Very central to most tourist destinations. Very clean room and was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Would book this hotel again for USJ and the Aquarium."

The accomodations and bathing area are a bit worn, but this is reflected with the price. The service is exceptional however, and I really enjoyed the onsen. Onsen is tattoo friendly which I needed. There is a smoking area within the building. It was a nice, traditional experience; the breakfast was particularly interesting.

We arrived early on a wet day and the staff were great! It was to early to check in but they dropped us at a dry café, gave us umbrellas and a phone for later. Once we could check in we got welcomed at reception with a drink and snack then shown to our room. We had the Naruto room which was absolutely amazing! Decoration, amenities and comfort of it were perfect, plus the exclusive merch and tickets included to the Naruto village and light shows. We also had traditional meals as part of the...

Nice place to stay and very affordable. Basically a home from home. With small fridge, microwave and hob to cook on with knives, forks, spoons and plates and bowls. Laundry facilities downstairs (washing machines and tumble driers for a very good price too) Very pleased with our stay overall.

Amazing location with magnificent views, service was excellent and very accommodating staff who looked after us well. The dinner and breakfast was quality! Free coffee, wine and desserts at the lobby was a nice touch.

This hotel has everything you need to chill and relax, but not for "luxury spa" lovers. This is strictly traditional Japanese. The staff are excellent and will guide you through you experience. Some rooms have outdoor personal bathing and there are communal hot springs to try as well. The wearing of a yukate is optional and helps add to the ambience. We visited Fushioukaku at the end of a busy holiday to relax and it was great. The package included a Japanese meal in the evening which was...
