The public open air bath was so relaxing, also equipped with a sauna and an ice cold bath. We also had the room with private open air bath and the view to the outside was amazing from the bath. Also has free shuttle to and from the closest train station (Ikeda Station) all you have to do is just make reservation with front desk. Only 10min walk from a wonderful temple with rare Buddhist art and autumn foliage. The staff were helpful. The yukatas for the onsen are on the first floor, there is room service and drink service until 12:00am. The options can be quite limited and pricey but I suggest is order delivery service and get something you’d want. The nearest restaurant is about 10-15 min walk up hill. Karaoke room is quite expensive for 1 hour. The view that we received of the foliage was amazing. The onsen itself was 7/10, it’s not like the onsen you get in Hokkaido but it’s still nice.
