La Mata is a great mellow town to make your home base with great restaurants and a couple markets right down the boardwalk. It’s not super fancy, so don’t expect the four seasons, but it’s a great place to stay, highly recommend. "
"I was given underground parking for 9 nights free in a spacious carpark, extremly friendly staff, when you walk by any hotel staff always greeted with hello or good day, food at the Coucheron restaurant was great in the evening overlooking the pink lake.

"Our 4-night stay at this house was absolutely fantastic! The property exceeded all expectations – it was beautifully maintained, incredibly well-equipped, and the private swimming pool was an absolute highlight. We spent hours relaxing by the water, and it truly made our holiday special. What truly set this experience apart, though, were the hosts, Peter and Hilde . Their hospitality was outstanding! From the warm welcome to their constant availability, they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was a quick question or a small request, they were there with a smile, making us feel genuinely cared for. The house itself had all the amenities we could ask for – a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and clean, modern spaces. It’s clear the owners take pride in their property. For a short getaway or a longer vacation, this is the perfect spot. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Peter and Hilde, for making our holiday unforgettable! "From the moment I booked this holiday apartment the communication was fantastic. Not only from the owner but also from Judith who looks after the apartment. We only went for a 3 day break and couldnt fault anything. Quesada town is only a 25 minute walk away or if you're like us 5 in a taxi. There is a beautiful Italian restaurant just up the road and a lively little pub with some kind of entertainment most evenings.I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone considering it."
