The property is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is very good. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and beach areas.
Our rooms were clean and the office staff were helpful. I wish I’d have brought my swimsuit. The indoor pool and hot tub looked very inviting. I enjoyed the walk on the beach to catch the morning sunrise.
We enjoyed the staff. The only problem was our key was difficult to use at times. Mgr stared they will get maintenance to get it fixed. We will stay there again if we are in the area.
We stayed 2 nights, property and rooms were very clean. Pool was great. Loved the walk way along the lake as well as the beautiful views. Would definitely stay again and recommend others to stay.
The staff was wonderful. The views were great from the room and the pathway over to the beach was a nice walk each evening. The room was a typical hotel room. We did like having a fridge available.
We’ve stayed at Driftwood before, and we enjoy it. It’s a modest motel without a lot of flashy fancies, but it’s clean and the rooms are nice with a beautiful view of Lake Huron.
Older motel but very nice. Comfortable room and bed. Great location near parks and bike trail. Also perfect for sightseeing in the area, near lots to do. Pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was okay but many restaurants close by. Really enjoyed my stay and staff helped with recommendations.
Is not the most modern look, but room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Great location-Right by the beach and close to restaurants. There is even one restaurant next door! Stayed a few days for work, would stay here again.
Older place but very well maintained. The grounds are phenomenal. Direct access to play in Lake Huron. And the people are very nice and helpful. The restaurant next door had great food and VERY big portions. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Staff were wonderful! Rooms are nice. Loved it had a coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge in the room. Was disappointed that it's advertised as lake view but I only had trees. You have to walk a small trail to get to Lake Huron. It's gorgeous when you get to the beach. There's also a bonfire pit on the beach and very few people were at this part of the beach. Crystal clear water. Definitely a nice place to stay. I enjoyed it.
The hotel has a friendly staff, clean rooms, good continental breakfast, a pool and is adjacent to a lake front beach. A great restaurant is next door.

Next door to a very nice restaurant. Great lake views. Very good rock hunting access. Best in the area. Most other lake shore in the area are limestone.
