"The view from the Grandview was magnificent! I loved the Adirondack chairs for reading on the patio outside our room (upper rooms had balconies) and the large sone patio for groups to hang out outside together. Though I did not use the pool or hot tub there were many families who did. The breakfast was awesome, being able to get the buffet or just order from the menu, with the made to order omelets being a high point. The dinners were great and dining room ceiling was so high it felt like eating in a medieval hall. Last, and maybe best of all, the bed was very comfortable."

"We stayed here for a very special ADK weekend where my husband, son, and nephew were finishing their final High Peaks to become 46ers, and this beautiful old farmhouse was the perfect home base for the celebration.It was definitely a splurge for us, but we were so glad we chose it. The house is an absolute gem: beautifully updated and renovated while preserving all the quirks, character, and charm of an old home. It was incredibly comfortable and full of thoughtful touches; plenty of towels and toiletries, coffee, a s’mores bar for the outdoor firepit, great WiFi and smart TV, and a genuinely well-appointed kitchen.I especially loved being able to bring our dog, and the location in Keene was excellent. Being able to walk to the bakery in the morning for coffee with the dog was an unexpected bonus.Stephanie (our hostess) was fantastic. Our plans kept shifting and our guest count changed several times between five and six adults, and she was consistently accommodating, understanding, and easy to communicate with.On our first evening, before the hikers arrived the next morning, my sister-in-law, my nephew’s girlfriend, and I stayed up late enjoying a bottle wine in this wonderful old house. It was such a lovely start to a memorable weekend... we would absolutely stay here again."

"– Absolutely Perfect Getaway!Loved the property! We had a group of 8, and the space accommodated us perfectly without ever feeling crowded. The environment is incredibly cozy and comfortable, but the real highlight was the proximity to the water—hearing the peaceful sound of the river all day long was amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, which was a fantastic bonus.The location is ideal because it gives you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want. To top it off, the owners were wonderful hosts who replied immediately whenever we had a question or a need. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this property!"

"The compact cottage was very clean and comfortable for a 1 week stay. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking your own meals. The location is terrific for adventuring in the mountains nearby. Well marked trailheads with parking are only several miles away. For bicyclists there is a good stretch of not too hilly road alongside the Ausable river from Keene to Ausable Forks or serious hills toward Lake Placid or Wilmington. Many roads have wide shoulders for cyclists. Plenty of restaurant and take out options in Keene or Keene Valley and Lake Placid and Saranac Lake aren't far."

"Absolutely beautiful peaceful gorgeous house in the woods but just a few minutes drive to Keene. The upstairs/downstairs setup is perfect for traveling with older kids (tiny kids might need help with the spiral staircase). We saw deer in the yard every day, one snake (!) and tons of tiny frogs, and went on lovely hikes right on the property. We just loved our stay here and will definitely come back!"
