"It was a nice place to stay, the area is beautiful. Nice resturant right down the road. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Some plugs are split between on/off at the wall vs at the equipment. Beds vary in hardness/softness. AC temperature control works. Two external doors, access through game room is narrow, use to open other external door to living room."

"This house has everything you could need with fabulous views. We went with friends to introduce our kids to one of our favorite spots and everyone had a wonderful experience in this spacious and comfortable house. The kitchen is really well equipped. The best part was the hosts! Kathy and Kirk were very easy to work with and were extremely accommodating of some of our changes, which we really appreciated. They also gave us suggestions of things to see and do. We would stay here again. "

"Cozy, cute, comfy, private, and tranquil indeed. Didn’t want to stay in busy Lake Placid, which was not too far for me. The sauna and hot tub were a huge plus. 5 stars for two nights. If more nights, it probably would be a 4 star for me because it was not really roomy for me, a big guy. The host communicated and responded well. You can use hosts’ two small kayaks and enjoy paddling in Mirror Lake!"

"Private, well located near High Peaks. Great layout of rooms. Very spacious. Lovely white birch lined driveway. Enjoyed the wildlife from the many large windows. Owner was quick to respond to our questions. Cell service was spotty but I was ok with that. "
