"Everything was amazing! In particular, the staff was extremely helpful with planning and check-in. They were communicative via WhatsApp ahead of enduring my stay. The pottery class with Ciro was a blast too!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The home is gorgeous and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They even provided us with suggestions on places to tour and visit for the time we were there. Additionally, asked where we were traveling and provided us suggestions for those cities as well. We appreciated all their guidance. Made our stay so much nicer by having local knowledge. Highly recommend this place for your visit to Taranto."

"Personnel serviable, mais des dis fonctionnements , peut être du à la période de l’année : le coffre fort ne fermait pas, des prises électriques non plus. L’eau chaude très, très longue à venir."

"We book the hotel on the same day and when we arrived, no one was there. We kept calling a phone number and after many attempts someone responded and came later. We had to wait by the road after the whole day of driving. It didn't feel like arriving to 4stars hotel but a not well organised B@B. Initially, they gave us a room without a sea view, that we booked and the hotel was empty. Also, provided with an only key/card. The breakfast was outside of hotel in a bar. We had no shampoo or soap in...

"Excellent boutique hotel – highly recommended
We had a wonderful stay at Dimora Mennuti. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel where everything felt top-level — the room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was excellent, the beds were great, and the pool was perfect for relaxing.
The hospitality made the experience even better. We received great recommendations for restaurants in the area, beautiful beaches to visit, and helpful information about anything else we needed during our stay.

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short.
Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean.

Francesco and Melissa were great hosts in this stunning house. They gave us loads of information on where to go during the days and where to eat in the evenings (excellent restaurant every time). The breakfast was nice and beautifully prepared, like everything else they did (attention to detail was perfect). The room was unbelievable for the price, a huge bedroom, a bathroom bigger than my living room and a massive outside area on the roof with an outdoor shower, which we loved.

Stunning setting with a fantastic pool area, staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and although they didn’t state on their menus that there are kids options, as they are published that evening when the chef has completed it, they do. The kids both had chicken schnitzel and chips, but could have had pasta also among other options. Breakfast typically Italian, cakes, pastries and fruits but also a range of cereals including muesli and bacon and egg. Room was...

Lovely hotel with friendly staff and beautiful rooms. We had a sea view room which was spacious and had lots of thoughtful touches such as complementary slippers and mini bar (soft drinks). We ate dinner in the hotel downstairs and thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and service. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I cannot fault this hotel in any way. The web-site photos do not do it justice. Everything was of the highest quality and spotlessly clean. The interior design was relaxing and sympathetic to the original architecture, high quality comfortable beds and linen, discreet friendly service and an excellent restaurant on site.

We had a lovely, large, clean, airy room with a comfortable balcony which had a table and chairs. Really good air conditioning which was needed and a mini fridge with drinks. Very comfortable bed. Staff were really friendly and helped us to book a restaurant and taxi. Breakfast had a mixture of continental and scrambled eggs and sausage. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptional from start to finish - we received an upgrade and all gold exclusives and the dinner in Cassamatta was one of the best Michelin experiences I’ve ever had!

The best area to stay in Roccaforzata is the historic centre, particularly around Piazza del Popolo.
This area is the heart of the village, characterised by its narrow, winding streets, traditional Puglian architecture, and the beautiful Chiesa Madre Santa Maria della Neve. You'll find a selection of local eateries and shops within easy walking distance, making it convenient for exploring on foot.
For couples seeking a quiet and authentic Italian experience, staying in the historic centre is ideal. It offers a chance to enjoy the local pace of life, with evening strolls, relaxed dining, and the opportunity to appreciate the village's heritage without the hustle of larger towns.
When is the best time to go to Roccaforzata?
The best time to visit Roccaforzata, Puglia, is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months.
These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the region's historical sites and natural beauty. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed experience. The landscapes are particularly beautiful in spring with blooming wildflowers and in autumn with the harvest colours.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities like cycling or walking through olive groves, spring and autumn provide comfortable conditions. The sea temperatures are also agreeable enough for swimming towards the latter half of spring and into early autumn. This makes it a great choice for couples looking for a mix of relaxation and gentle exploration.
If you're interested in local food and wine experiences, autumn is particularly rewarding, as it coincides with the grape and olive harvests.
