My son and I stayed here during his spring break and we stayed very busy with all there was to do and see. The place was clean and had all we needed. The owner was very communicative. We were able to get groceries in Robbinsville, visit the Tail of the Dragon, see Fontana Dam, head into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, plenty of hiking and sight seeing everywhere we went. Thanks for the great stay!
We stayed here for Miatas at the GAP. The owner was friendly. The house was clean, cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner provided items in the rental that kept us from needing to run to the store. The driveway could be a challenge for some, but all our Miatas made it up the hill.
The property was exactly what we were looking for. Being animal lovers. We were greeted with a few very well behaved pups that stayed on property the entire stay. We enjoyed our time in the mountains and the atmosphere was perfect. The description does state that the driveway could be a challenge for some, we definitely took on that challenge with ease. If you are hauling a trailer we recommend you have 4x4😍. If we had to recommend any changes it would be the to replace the mattresses as they were not horrible they were not the most comfortable. We will definitely be returning.
We come here every few years or sometimes every year. Cant get over the beauty of the location.

Beautiful, clean, secluded, and close to the AT
Our stay was wonderful! The property was well-kept, the owner was very helpful in booking, and we enjoyed the time spent there. We hope to return next year and hike more in beautiful Nantahala National Forest. The welcome basket was extra thoughtful, and our family of 5 enjoyed having 3 bedrooms to stay in. Hope to be back soon!

We loved that it was in the middle of no where.
We love small and cozy, not very small but it’s a very cozy home. The hot tub was wonderful, lucky us we had a full moon and somewhat clear skies. We cooked one meal while we were there and everything was nice and clean that we used. BE AWARE*** dry county!!! Make sure to get your alcohol way before you come. 2 closest gas stations also close vey early so make sure to get gas when you get to a quarter tank. Back to the house, the bed was very comfy, shower was amazing! It’s a stand up with a seat! (Big enough for 2) ;) There’s a small brindle dog that comes around with a huge head! He’s he sweetest and will carry your stuff off haha. He came both nights and hung out with us. We also have a dog that we swear is his son. We did have a few mishaps unfortunately but the owner was quick to resolve the problems and was very nice about the whole situation! We came down as a “second chance” honeymoon and it was just that. Hopefully next year we will be back!
This was a great stay. Exactly as it is depicted online. The place was very clean. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Great amenities and close to the tail of the dragon. Would definitely stay here again.
We had the greatest time! This property is secluded, back in the woods!
Our family had an amazing spring break experience! Yes we had to drive to Tennessee but it was totally worth not being right on top of your neighbors and the kids could enjoy themselves outside without me telling them to keep it down! Beautiful place also! Well kept and clean! I couldn't have picked a better place for 4 teenagers!
Wow, can’t say enough good things about this home. We booked this house because it was the last available one for our dates with a hot tub. And it was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do on our vacation! I am so glad that this was the one we picked. This host has thought of EVERYTHING! From sugar and coffee to a pack-n-go! The inside is immaculate and very well stocked – no need to bring anything but cloths and food. It is within a 2-hour drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We went to the Titanic Museum (plan for about 2 hours to walk around on the audio guided tour) and the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show. I am a big Titanic fan and they still surprised me with the facts they share during the tour, you get to see what the rooms and ship looked like also feel how cold it was outside and they even have water that you can try to stick your hand into to see how cold it was that night. They show you so many things that I could not list them all. At the Show the food was fantastic, seating was a little tight (We are both on the bigger side) but it worked, and it was a fantastic show with audience participation. Only 30-45 min away from Cherokee with the big casino (We did not win big LOL). And a short drive to the Tail of the dragon. I highly recommend going through the tail of the dragon (Slowly!!!!) and then cutting across towards Gatlinburg through the Great Smoky National Park. Along this road you will see many Vista points, Drive alongside an amazing river that we stopped off for pictures several times. We even saw waterfalls!!! The waterfalls are right beside the road and you just pull of and enjoy. The Hot Tub was a blessing at the end of the long but enjoyable days we were there. Put on some music and had a relaxing evening with some shine and wine we got while exploring downtown Gatlinburg. We also stopped in Blue Ridge at the Orchard/Store they had there for some goodies for the ride home. I would recommend everything we did on our trip. One of the best trips I have been on. We will defiantly stay here again!
We had a wonderful experience using VRBO. The rental was perfect for my wife and I to relax. The property owners were there if we needed anything. The rental was fully stocked with anything you could think of to make your stay more enjoyable. We loved the hot tub and the bed was comfortable. Everything was perfect. And a special thanks to mrs Williams for making this trip unforgettable.
The lush forest, nearby hiking, the sounds of a babbling brook and songbirds, the canopy of stars - everything I love about WNC is right here at Yellow Mountain. Our host was great and we'll be back.
i had to clean the tub and remove a giant hairball from the drain before the tub would drain and i could actually take a shower.
there was a puddle of water in the fridge and all of my food kept getting wet because there was a leak
the internet was terrible most of the time we could not get internet nor watch tv
I took my other half there to celebrate his 55th birthday. We rode out to ride the Tail of the Dragon. It was the peaceful getaway for us to enjoy our time alone. Definitely will return.
Yellow Creek cabin was a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The cabin was spacious and clean, with lots of room but cozy feeling also. The view is spectacular and with a creek nearby, the sound of running water made sitting outside so peaceful. The hosts, Revonda and Jerry were awesome people who made our stay that much better. The family had fun at the trout pond also! Overall, an excellent place to stay!
I wish I could give more than a 5 rating... Perfection!
Pictures can't do this experience justice... The peaceful drive into this country home was only the beginning of our total unwind of the crazy world. We booked this home with the intention of just seeing some beautiful fall colors and enjoying our 10-year wedding anniversary. The EXTRAS that this location brought - the thoughtful touches added by Revonda to this home, the sound of the waterfalls in the quiet evening, the beautiful location, everything within a very short drive without being right in the middle of all the hustle-and-bustle - absolute perfection.
My husband and I are already looking at our calendars for our next vacation opportunity and this home will absolutely be on our list permanently.
Revonda, thank you for making our 10-year anniversary so special!
My girlfriend and I spent the weekend here and it was great. The place did not disappoint. We already talked about staying here again in the future. Thanks Revonda!
This property was perfect for our family getaway. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The host even provided us with smores supplies and games for the children. The home was secluded and the area was beautiful. Thanks so much for letting us stay, we had a wonderful time and would love to come back again in the future!
