"The location was good. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom was dated and could do with being freshened up. The hotel itself had no atmosphere it always empty in the bar area so it didn't tempt us into wanting to stay for food or drinks. The reception staff were helpful. Overall we had a great weekend break. Harrogate is a lovely place."

"Hollins Hall is a beautiful property and we have stayed there a few times in the past. The grounds are well maintained and the hotel offers a bar and restaurant. Our room was clean, but basic and with the usual tea and coffee options. There was no bottled water provided, which would have been appreciated, and no refrigerator. I thought the bathroom amenities were somewhat lacking compared to other hotels, but we managed with what was there. We checked out early in the morning, so I can't comment on breakfast. We did not used any of the on site facilities because we were in the area for a funeral. Hollins Hall is special in it's secluded location, and I would recommend choosing a room that has all the options you require for your stay."
