Nice hotel in rural area Germany. Clean and bright with family friendly features. Nice environmentally conscious touches. Delicious German style breakfast. Also had dinner at hotel, all very good. Would definitely stay here again.

A week on the banks of the Mosel.
We have just left here this morning 30/9/23 after a week's stay in the Hotel. The hotel is very nice the rooms are quite large and it's sited about 5 minutes walk to the banks of the Mosel in Riol. İt's a very quiet and relaxing place to stay the staff here are so friendly they treat the guests like relatives every one who works here is lovely and nice to talk to interested where you have been and where you come from we have had a lovely week's stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced in the restaurant and the breakfast is the usual one you get everywhere on the continent. We stayed in room 1 on the 1st floor which had a balcony and was lovely this is just a great place to stay with easy access to the mosel's towns and cities.

Handy for the Mosel
We have stayed here before and we felt that the standards had dropped on this occasion. No clean towels during the stay and the bed was not changed.No toiletries in the room including soap. The room in the fridge did not work.No local brochures of things to do in the area. The breakfast was good value and plentiful. The positives are in December it is very quiet here, they are dog friendly and staff are helpful and welcoming.

Super cute, chateau outside, beautiful view
The only downfall is the hotel/restaurant was extremely hard to find in the dark. Tht being said, the villa/ chateau was very tidy, clean and cute. Wifi was not offered inside it, so you can only access it in the restaurant or main hotel area. Delicious breakfast buffet spread prepared. beautiful views of the mountains and grape vines. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. If I were coming back to the area, I would try to stay there again

Good hotel but a long way from civilisation
We arrived in darkness and the hotel was not easy to find - at the end of a twisting single track road beyond the village of Riol. There was plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and had a balcony but did not have much of a view. It was described as "Morgensonne" - "morning sun" - but as it faced the hillside we didn't see any morning sun at the end of November! The breakfast was very good and the hotel was generally very good value, although this was perhaps because it was not in the peak season. We did not have any other meals in the hotel, preferring to go out to Trier or Schweich. The hotel restaurant was only open for 4 nights in the week anyway. In the summer season there are no doubt a lot of leisure facilities but nothing is open in the winter, so a car is essential.

Fantastic hotel right beside beautiful cycle path along the Mosel. Quality room and bathroom with great views. Fun gravity roller coaster running down the mountsin side in the grounds ( we had lots of goes)

Very pleasant stay in a modern hotel near a new, still under construction playground, with wake boarding, water skiing, children's rides, and a weird German roller coaster. The restaurant is excellent, the service and food both aspiring to high standards.

Leider wurden die Zimmer ohne Ankündigung nicht gereinigt .wir haben auch keine Handtücher bekommen. Das Frühstück ist sehr überschaubar und von einfacher Qualität. Einfache Brötchen und Billigwurst. Kaffee ist super. Es empfehlen sich die größeren Panoramozimmer, die Sommerrodelbahn ist sonst laut. Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Restaurant ist lecker aber hochpreisig.

Een schitterende ligging! Algemeen beeld van het hotel was niet geweldig. Algemene orde en netheid niet top. Wel ruime kamer. Er werd heel erg veel gerookt, ook op terras, wat je ook in de kamer merkte. Gasten met honden komen eten, ook binnen.. Ontbijt niet echt geweldig, gebrek aan bvb vers fruit, geen gewone yoghurt, nooit stukje spek. Altijd broodjes, geen gewoon brood…Het hotel en restaurant zou top kunnen zijn, maar trekt nu een publiek dat hen veel punten kost. Spijtig eigenlijk. Dit omdraaien gaat moeilijk zijn….

Vi bodde i mindre campingstugor. Liten uteplats som var skön att ta ett glas vin på. Kyl och två vinglas fanns bland utrustningen. Fräscht badrum. Fanns rätt gott om aktiviteter runt omkring. Schysst restaurang på området. Lite lurigt att hitta med Google maps

Hele toffe accommodatie,prachtige natuur,veel te doen rondom..mooie plaats om te verblijven...wij waren er met de hondjes ..ook voor hen was het er top. Enige minpuntje is wel dat de mini chalet heel warm was.Wij zaten er in meer dan 30graden buiten tijdens ons verblijf . Er is wel een electrische ventilator voorzien( waaier) .maar dit is echt niet voldoende bij deze temperaturen... misschien een tip om het verblijf met airco te voorzien. Anders was alles oké... Ontbijt was voldoende ,mar wel elke dag hetzelfde aanbod. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk,prachtige omgeving,.. Desondanks het minpuntje van de warmte in het chalet je,komen wij zeker nog terug.

Sehr gute Lage der Unterkunft (NaherholungsAnlage mit diversen Freizeitmöglichkeiten an den Weinbergen!!!) Zimmer angenehm groß und Sauber ( im Motelstyle-Chalets) mit eigenem Zugang und Fenster und Parkplatz davor. Frühstücksbüffet war sehr lecker und variantenreich. Super Kaffee und herrliche Aussicht im Frühstücksraum. Badezimmer sehr sauber und großzügig. Personal war sehr freundlich und immer aufmerksam. Wifi war sehr gut

Mitarbeiter sehr nett. Neuwertige Dusche mit sehr schlecher Duscharmatur. Wasser schwankte ständig zwischen heiss und kaltem Wasser, ohne etwas zuverstellen. Wassermenge war nur ein Rinnsal.

En perle ved Mosel
Fantastisk hyggeligt sted at overnatte. Havde vi ikke haft andre planer så var vi blevet i flere dage . Vi valgte en hytte. I hytten var en behagelig dobbeltseng, et køleskab , 2 gode stole også udenfor og så var der et rigtig flot badeværelse. Meget hundevenligt sted hvilket var vigtigt for os ds vores lille hund er med på ferie. Naturskønne omgivelser, flot restaurantområde med blomster og palmer. Vi mødte den største venlighed fra personalet og ejeren af stedet. Giver hermed vores varmeste anbefaling

Super netter Service und wirklich schöne Zimmer! Um das Hotel herum befindet sich ein See, mit vielen Aktivitäten. Außerdem befindet sich direkt über dem Hotel eine Rodelbahn. Die perfekte Unterkunft für Groß und Klein in einer traumhaften Umgebung! Nur zu empfehlen!

Wij hadden 2 hotelkamers gereserveerd maar toen we aankwamen bleek onze hond niet in het hotel te mogen. Wel in de chalets tegenover het hotel. Er is direct gekeken naar een geschikt chalet en daar hebben we een nacht verbleven (we waren op doorreis). Het chalet was goed gefaciliteerd met beddengoed en handdoeken. Prima service

Fpr eine Nacht perfekt
Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Unser Zimmer und das Bad, mit Walk in Dusche, waren sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Einziges Manko, die Matratze war viel zu hart, zumindest für uns. Das Frühstück war überschaubar aber nicht außergewöhnlich. Trotzdem können wir das Hotel mit ruhigen Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
