Room was pretty small but clean & had a mini fridge and a microwave. Friendly & helpful staff. Key card to our room wouldn’t work so we were given a different room facing the highway. We arrived around midnight & checked out at 06:00 & didn’t have time for breakfast. I would definitely return & recommend this hotel.

Not the safest area but the overall hotel from inside was good. rooms were decent, beds were fine, we had issue with 1 room and staff simply took care of it by switching. Dont eat here though. Food is terrible, ordered 8 things none of them finished

The desk staff and all staff very friendly. Not a great location but perfect for my transit. Very helpful staff no problem rebooking when I missed my bus. Even my taxi drivers have been very pleasent. All round absolutely no complaints.

It was further away from the airport than expected for an airport hotel. There was no separate bar but a bar/restaurant. The staff were very pleasant in the restaurant and at reception. Although the room was small it had plenty of drawer and storage space. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There was a kettle but the coffee and tea (all flavoured) were sparce , with only 1 sachet of powdered milk

Nice hotel pre-flight
We only had an overnight at the hotel. Everything was very clean and new. The restaurant food was delicious! Nice breakfast. Reliable wi-fi. The bed could be more comfortable. The AC took a bit too long to cool the toasty room. This hotel is a great option before taking Rio Galeão Airport early flights.

Loud music next door will keep you awake!
Caixas where the hotel is located is a biz district. There is a very nice mall opposite the hotel with some really good food options. But if you are American, there’s a fine dining option next door. McDonalds:) the biggest downside to this hotel is the all night disco nearby. All weekend they blast music thru the night till 6am. Best of luck sleeping thru that!

We enjoyed this hotel as it is away from the city but not too far. There is a McDonalds next door. The staff are excellent and the rooms are great. Was very happy with this hotel for a few night stay.

Best Western Multi Suites
This is a great hotel close to the airport. The surrounding area is not very good but this is a good place if you need to stay before going to the airport. The rooms are new and the beds are comfortable. I would stay here again.

This is a good hotel close to the airport. It is clean, safe, and the staff is very helpful. I ended up staying here 2 nights. There is nothing in the surrounding area but this is a good place to stay if you need to be close to the airport.

VERY NICE HOTEL NEAR GIG AIRPORT
IT WAS GREAT TO BE ABLE TO CHECK INTO A HOTEL IN RIO AND HAVE THE FRONT DESK GIVE ME A ROOM EARLY IN THE MORNING, WHEN CHEK IN IS 3 PM. WHAT A GREAT TEAM. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT WAS QUICK AND SIMPLE. THE STAFF GOT ME A TAXI TO THE CRUISE SHIP, AND I WAS ON MY WAY. I RECOMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO BE NEAR GIG AIRPORT. VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE.

Nice hotel - bad location
I stayed at the Best Western Multi Suites while volunteering at the Summer Olympics in Rio in 2016. The hotel was really nice. Breakfast was fabulous. Their were staff who spoke English - which was really important. Room service didn't come everyday and sometimes they came at 9pm. The location is bad in a suburb called Duque de Caxias. It is across the street from a loud night club that plays music until 5 am. The neighborhood is scary. I was not comfortable outside. I used the car service to get into Rio and I would take the train or bus from there. The car service was good especially with Halana setting up my trips. I'm giving it an overall rating of 4 stars because of the hotel but I gave it 1 star on neighborhood.

Deadful. Very noisy on the road. They could have put us in the back where it is quiet. Apparently, there is a party across the road that regularly goes on to 3AM. Also charged for my kids to use the room until their flight.

Hello there all, So me and my USA volleyball team from ny we travel a lot. I do recommend staying here for it's pricing BUT HEADS UP!! 2 very important notices. 1- In Brazil they charge more per person in the room!!! so if you book under your name even though you ask for a 2 beds in your room they will hit you with higher fees at the end of your stay !!! Yes I was forced to pay $60 (brazillian $) per night which was ridiculous. 2- There is a night club across the street and you will hear the very loud music all night till 4am! if sleep is important than this is not the place for you. Beds new Super small only 3 feet wide! 6feet long. very clean / american breakfast (eggs bacon bread fruit coffee) every morning. pound for pound was ok. Just OK. Still upset about the added fees at the end.

Booked this hotel because of relative proximity to airport. It is a very long way away - 16km and in heavy traffic. It is also in the middle of a favela so options for dining/going outdoors are limited! 'Fitness studio' is essentially 1 X treadmill and 1 X stationary bike. Breakfast fine but minimal choice. Staff were reluctant to book me a taxi - kept offering me their driver which was 3 X the price a taxi ended up being. Big stadium next door held a party until 5am. Literally no sleep

Close to airport hotel
We wanted to book a airport hotel but none was available. This hotel was close enough but it does not provide a shuttle service. We took a cab arranged by the accredited counter right at the arrival exit which, we found out later, was at least 2-3 times more than what should have been. Best to arrange pick up with the hotel which has a car service company counter at its front. We highly recommend this company (or email directly contato@viariotransportes.com.br ). Reasonable, safe andexcellent service. The hotel has a restaurant that only serves breakfast but has 24-hr room service. Beds in the double are twin size and mattress soft. Otherwise, amenities are great with a separate counter with a sink and microwave.

The hospitality upon check in and during our stay was quite good; friendly efficient service. The hotel itself was obviously new so we were pretty comfortable with the cleanliness, decor of the room, common areas, breakfast/vending areas, gym etc. our room and bed were very comfortable but we DID NOT sleep well during our entire four night stay. The large Club/disco/restaurant played music very loudly every night which could be heard loud and clear through the sliding terrace doors. The sliding doors need to be changed and replaced with doors more soundproof. The noise was unbearable! The club is open to outside dining etc. So the loud music and loud DJ can be heard from a pretty good distance away. Otherwise the car service on the premises etc was very convenient.

Isolated. Drivers can never find it. Doesn't have a sign outside-not sure if it's just a temporary pop-up hotel for olympics. Operations inconsistent and seem overwhelmed (restaurant housekeeping etc.). Extremely loud night club goes until 2 am almost every night. not sure why so many rooms have twin beds and not something bigger. Gets the job done but you can do better.

Brand new hotel so rooms were clean and nice but I searched for hotels nest Olympic track stadium and this one came up as approximately 8 miles away. It was more like 20+ and was not easy to get to by train. There were busses near by but waa too much to get to the stadium. There is a shopping mall across the street/highway. It was walkable with an overpass. Room included a decent continental breakfast. The room was new but I thought the bathroom was dirty Shan I checked in but after I watched them clean it I realized it was just a construction stains. They gave me an accessible room even though I'm 100% sure I did not book it but that was not a big deal except that the bathroom flooded each time I took a shower. All staff was nice but slow. Had to ask for towels 3 times on 2 separate occasions. The view from the room was a decent city view but it turns out there is a club across the street with the speakers outside that started some time after 11pm and kept going until.... If you cannot sleep thru noise request a room away from the mall side for sure... All in all a pretty decent room/hotel. Clean, safe and good for the price.

Disaster in Rio.
Had booked and received confirmation for a twin room with Orbitz. Upon arrival, at 11 pm found at least 40 people sitting or milling aroung the front desk. Also more people were arriving every few minutes. This hotel had only been open a few days and their reservation systems was in total disarray. After waiting a half hour I presented my booking confirmation and they told me that they had no record of it. There was total caos. People screaming at the front desk etc. etc. The front desk then announced that they would transfer everyone to another Best Western. (this was at midnight) I went outside to get some air and repose as more and more people were arriving. I thought that if, when and how customers were to be transferred, it would be hours later. I looked about the hotel and found a gym were I put down some mats and tried to sleep on the floor. It was about 2.30am when customers started to get transferred. This was of no use to me as I presumed by the time people would be checked in, it would be time to get ready to go to the airport. I did not transfer to another hotel as I am a senior citizen and felt that any more inconveniences would be to hard on my health. I would like my payment returned to me with an apology and maybe some compensation.

Stayed here when our cruise ship docked late and we missed our flight. Being the day before the Olympics it was the only hotel near the airport with availability. At check in the lobby was overflowing with people in the same situation. The hotel did not have enough rooms for everyone that had reservations. Fortunately ours was honored. We were assigned rooms 501 and 513. They are both on the back of the hotel. There is a nightclub across the highway that played loud music until 5am. So loud it shook the hotel and I could not hear the television. So, sleep was limited. The breakfast buffet was good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereals, etc. Check out was smooth.
