A smaller hotel with a very good cost/benefit ratio right on the beach road. Rooms are a good size, breakfast as you would expect, restaurant open for lunch and dinner as well. For visitors to Recreio, it is very well located.

We had a great stay in this hotel. The service was great, the staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel itself is not fancy but was clean and our room was comfortable. We hade an ocean front room. The hotel is also well located in Recreio beach. I would stay here again next time I’m in Rio.

Located adjacent to the Rio surfing spot, the hotel is situated almost right on the water. I'd come back and recommend room 706, because it has one of the best views with a large balcony to privately take in the sun or enjoy a quiet meal watching the waves. Room service food is inconsistent, and the breakfast buffet could use improvement, offering more fresh pastries and better waffles. I'd come back because of the room's value and the hotel's excellent location (if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Ipa-Copa area). Very good value.

On arrival before 10 a.m after a 30 hours flight trip. We were very very tired and exhausted. We begged for a very light breakfast to Anna the receptionist. Anna recommended us to buy our own breakfast at a very distant bakery. But was sparingly given only coffee and being strictly supervised by Jenny the Restaurant Captain if we were snatching any other food. We were treated like we were some low life travelers. We even explained to Anna that we were to skip 2 of our breakfast from our total stay. Anna had no sympathy. We had to wait until 3 p.m for our room. Although, there was availability of spare rooms. Swimming pool was freezing cold. No heater in the jacuzzi. The best receptionist was Alexio. Always ready and willing to help to the extreme. Experienced a gun point robbery during our stay which was very very scary. Right in front of the hotel door.
