La Casita is a glamping bungalow in a rustic Puerto Rican neighborhood, one mile from downtown Rincón but surrounded by nature. It is a simple island stay designed for guests who enjoy outdoor living, tropical gardens, nature, and a bit of adventure.

We intentionally call ourselves a glamping accommodation.   If you're seeking polished finishes, a highly controlled indoor environment, or a curated luxury experience, this is not the right fit.

Perfect for couples, small families, or friends traveling together. Guests with friends can also add a backyard camping tent for a small additional cost per night.

La Casita is ideal for surfers, nature lovers, and laid-back travelers who value character over perfection. This renovated Puerto Rican concrete home is surrounded by tropical gardens and local wildlife.

Spend an evening relaxing in a hammock while listening to the symphony of coquí frogs that fills the night air—a uniquely Puerto Rican experience many visitors fall in love with.

Because this is a tropical outdoor living experience, you may also encounter salt kissed appliances, geckos, our fluffy silkie hens, tropical birds , neighborhood cats and dogs, butterflies, iguanas, and the occasional bug. While the sleeping area is enclosed and air-conditioned, much of the living space is intentionally open to the outdoors.

If you enjoy camping, glamping, authentic Caribbean neighborhoods, and being immersed in nature but also love air conditioning, a warm shower, and a comfortable bed, you'll likely feel right at home.
