"What a fantastic find for a family of 5. Huge family room with plenty of proper beds for everyone (we were thrilled as it’s difficult to book somewhere with 1 room for 2 adults and 3 growing children). We arrived a couple of hours after check in closed (I had messaged and said we’d be late) and a member of staff was still there waiting for us. Amazing to have free parking on the hotel grounds. Breakfast set up was great, help yourself to continental items whilst your hot breakfast was cooked to order. We’d love to come back and will definitely return here if anywhere remotely close again!"

"Only stayed one night with my wife and two grandchildren. Hotel location is perfect. Stayed in a family room one double bed and two single beds, not a put me up which was unusual so well impressed. Only down side was we ordered the children's food which was good. We then ordered ours which didn't arrive and the cook was wandering around the bar . Asked what was happening and they had forgotten our order by this time the kids needed to go to bed so we didn't eat. Breakfast was okay but had to wait a while as containers for hot breakfast were empty ."

"Very central location with helpful staff and lots of beer choice. Old property which needs some tender care but very nice and quaint. Great value and offers both Continental and Full breakfast. Definitely would stay again."

"Just returned from two nights in the Pen Mill with two other couples. We had a really lovely time, the staff were outstanding we cannot fault them. All young people and so friendly, polite, attentive and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent all freshly cooked, we had two evening meals here including the carvery on Sunday which was excellent too. The road outside is quite busy and noisy at night with the boy racers!! Only because we had the windows wide open due to the hot weather. The hotel provided fans for the room which was helpful."

"Easily accessible location with lots of parking. Hotel spacious and checking in was quick and easy. Rooms very comfortable with all the usual facilities. Restaurant food was very good and plenty of selection for breakfast."
