Great stay! Warm and friendly staff, nice facilities, good (included) breakfast. Lovely neighborhood, walking distance from Amtrak station. Only drawbacks were that there was no housekeeping service (they had indicated that there would be a room refresh every other day but there wasn't anything during my 4-day stay), and parking is tricky nearby. Valet is costly, and there is no discount for the many expensive parking garages near the hotel. I will definitely return!

Buona posizione nel downtown di Richmond. Camera ampia e spaziosa, ben attrezzata. Pulizia della camera non effettuata tutti giorni, ma uno si e uno no (se si sta due notti la camera non viene quindi pulita). Colazione pessima, con pochissima scelta e di bassa qualità e brick di latte scaduti. Assenza di un parcheggio o di una convenzione con parcheggi vicini, salvo servizio valet ma molto costoso (fortunatamente c’è un public parking a 5 minuti a piedi al costo di 15$ ogni 24h). Prezzo molto alto rispetto a quanto offerto.

I spent 5 nights at this property and had to ask repeatedly for Housekeeping services. Dirty glassware in the cabinet and greasy fingerprints on the cabinets. They finally arrived on my 4th night after my third request. Suddenly, items that should have been there from the beginning, arrived (hand soap, for example). The breakfast food was below par (fake eggs) and very limited for GF customers. I won’t stay there again (was visiting family in the city).

The property was nice and the downtown location was decent. Staff was friendly. However, the band playing outside my window in the courtyard until 10:00 was not. I support musicians, but if I wanted live music, I'd go to a bar. This is Downtown Richmond, not a tropical resort. The band was literally playing for 4 people, and the rest of us had to hear it as I tried to sleep in preparation for an early morning. There is no onsite parking. Valet is $44. You can pay $14 for a garage across the street or walk to a free parking garage a block down. Finally such a small thing that makes a big difference in my day is coffee in the morning. There is no coffee available until 7:00 am on the weekend. Yes, I could make it in my room, but it's junk and it wakes up my kids. Please, all hotels everywhere, have coffee available.

We really enjoyed our short stay in Richmond. However, the hotel staff told us that we could get breakfast until 10am, and that it was to be included in our stay, but when we came down at about 9:15 we were told it ended at 9 on weekdays. The person with whom we spoke was not very understanding about the fact that we had been told 10am the night before. We then had to buy our breakfast and they were out of the first 2 things we asked for, a breakfast sandwich and a burrito. The staff was nice there, but it took forever and cost quite a bit after having been told our breakfast was included.

Having just finished a 2 week stay, my wife and I agreed we like this hotel quite a bit. Our king bed studio was spacious, in good quality, and clean. The bed and bedding were noticeably nice. Good fridge and cooktop, fine with cups and plates, could use a few more kitchen items (more pots and pans, colinder, etc). Hotel breakfast just okay. Parking available in the structure across the street, as well as excellent valet team. Overall, much better than several other hotels with kitchen suites. Recommended, and we've already booked our next stay.
