"Ticked a box for one night , but room a little small , no hot water for the duration even though reported it twice , mentioned in the morning and was told ‘oh sorry about that ‘not acceptable when you pay £120+ for a room "

"ullapool is a lovely town to stop over in. creagans guest house is a treasure there. karhleen is a very warm and welcoming host. the room had everything we needed, a big bath and bigger bed. the guest lounge was very cosy too. breakfast was great and kept us going all day. easy parking outside and a really great stop on our journey."

"Property and rooms are clean. Breakfast was good as well. It gets 4 star for two reasons, small bathroom sink, I mean small, 1x1 literally, shower is inside tub for which you have to climb over 1.5 feet in bath tub, bath tub is located on a platform. There is literally no space between bathrub and Toilet. Unless u r a toddler, it will be impossible to sit on it. Lastly, only warm water in shower"

"Kitchen had everything we needed. Had a private family room, beds were comfy and it was warm! Drying room handy. Staff were AMAZING, really welcoming and helpful "

"The lodge is superbly located at the head of Loch Assynt with lovely views outside. The bed was very comfortable and the lodge has lots of power sockets. It is small and compact with limited storage space and no armchair but this is reflected in the price. Biggest problem was no mobile phone signal (EE). Owner said that there was a problem with the transmitter. Note, the WiFi code is buried in what looks like a tourist brochure, perhaps could be more obvious. Excellent value and I hope to return."

"Although lovely and clean and exactly as described, after hotels and a cottage the Pod was a bit small for us with hindsight. Was warm and well-equipped and is within easy walking distance to the beautiful beaches."
