Cocoonr offers this flat in the heart of the historic centre. Located in the Rue Saint Georges, which links the Parliament of Brittany to the Palais Saint-Georges. It is following a very beautiful rehabilitation of this building in Pans de Bois, in this typical street of historic Rennes, that you will find on the 4ᔉ floor by staircase, a real Cocoon completely renovated. All the modern facilities and comforts for this two-storey flat with the authentic charm of these beams, timber-framed walls and limed patina shades.

Comme il donne sur la rue des restaurants j'ai eu un peu peur pour le bruit mais en fait les chambres sont toutes cĂŽtĂ© cour donc aucun souci de bruit. On y dors trĂšs bien. Chaque chambre possĂšde sa salle de bain. ApprĂ©ciable ! Seul bĂ©mol, dans les escaliers les odeurs des restaurants sont constantes. Dans l'appartement c'est bien attĂ©nuĂ© mais impossible d'ouvrir une fenĂȘtre sans profiter des odeurs. Ce n'est en rien la faute de notre hĂŽte, bien entendu, mais cela mĂ©rite d'ĂȘtre soulignĂ© pour les gens sensibles Ă  ce dĂ©tail. Pour le reste tout Ă©tait trĂšs bien."

There is a reasonable amount of space with a kitchen/lounge. 🙁 The flat is up 8 flights of stairs which would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. The house is on a relatively busy street, but despite this the bedrooms are quiet. I had a slight problem with my deposit, but this was paid back in the end."

Cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery and cultural attractions are all in walking distance. In the summertime except noise from the restaurants till around midnight. If you like crooked and twisted you have come to the right place. There’s an inexpensive parking garage 2 mins away where you also can charge your car for free."
